It turns out they are a pharmacy and when I called, one of the pharmacists who works there picked up the phone almost immediately. I was very surprised because when I call my local chain (I don’t want to say the name) I am waiting forever to speak with an actual pharmacist. We asked him about the energy increase and a bunch of other questions like safety, side effects, possible interactions, etc. He patiently listened to every question and answered with a deep knowledge of the subject. They were also honest and upfront about reasonable expectations when using biotin, but we also read many success stories.
When they originally mailed the supplement they also sent some printed information that was really helpful. Part of it mentioned the possibility for a false lab result and on this phone call, they warned me yet again. This was really important as she uses medication where this could be an issue for her. They were so nice and patient with us– we couldn’t believe that when we looked at one point we had been talking for over 50 minutes.
