I have to admit I’m pretty gobsmacked about this.. A bit of back history: I’ve been dealing with autoimmune hypothyroidism (Hashimoto’s) for years now. Prior to that I had tons of healthy curly hair, more than I knew what to do with. My family moved into a home in 2003 and after living there a few years, I developed thyroid problems which includes the symptom of incredibly brittle dry wirey coarse horrible (I could go on and on with the descriptives) hair. Loooong story short, we found out last year that the home has a major mold issue, not as much black mold but lots of aspergillus! That explained why our family has been experiencing a myriad of health problems for so many years when we were previously so healthy. Thank God, we’ve moved out now and are starting to detox the mold from our bodies. But during the past several years, I tried and wasted money on a truckload of different “hair” vitamins, supplements, products, etc. to try to stop the hair breakage. None really made much difference so I finally stopped trying. Big mistake. Over time I lost about 80% of the natural thickness and density of my once-pretty hair.😥 Then finally in fall 2020, I started panicking again about the large amount of breakage and loss that seemed to be escalating, some stress related and some from my health issues. I knew I had to start trying something, anything to help or it was going to be time to go wig shopping.. which I dreaded. Enter BIOSIL!! I can honestly say that I didn’t think it would work since I’d tried so many things and since my core health problems have not been fully resolved yet. Well, I started taking the drops 2x a day. One month went by.. no difference. Two months.. no difference in my hair but nails seemed to be growing more. I’m now approaching the 3+ month mark.. and miracle of all miracles, when I washed my hair a few days ago, I only lost about 20 hairs as opposed to the 50-75 that have been the usual for me!! (Yes. You will actually count the hairs you’re losing if it’s bad enough.) At first I thought maybe it was just a fluke, but I just washed my hair again. This time I’ve only lost about 10-15 hairs!!! I could keep rambling on and make a fool of myself by gushing, but really?!! If you are going through something similar, PLEASE just give this a try!! It’s so horrible to be a female and slowly losing a part of yourself that helps define your femininity. Yes, we are much more than our physical appearance, but it’s so difficult to see handfuls of hair coming out and not being able to stop it. Just give Biosil a go.. and give it TIME to work! At least three months! I was not prompted to write this review or paid with free products in any way. This is my true life experience.☺ I hope and pray that my review will serve to encourage anyone who is trying to get their hair back.. DON’T GIVE UP!! KEEP TRYING!! My body is nowhere near where I want it to be in terms of health. But this product makes me more hopeful that I can help my hair while I work on resolving everything at the “root” of the problem! Ok I have been using biosil almost a year and every since I was in high school there was this one area on my head that would grow a white hair. I don’t have white hair yet, but when I did go through a stressful divorce and was not eating right or not at all I did get exactly 8 strands of white hair. Well I read about this and I was taking collagen pills, but the studies behind this is better than the non scientific proof that collagen pills work to begin with. I have to say since being in Nrusing school I have been stressing and found a strand of white hair which is what prompted me to try thism well now on this for almost a year, I have NO white hairs anywhere even though I am still stressed in school! MY hair is growing much healthier and my ends are just as thick as my scalp, which it was starting to thin out as I’m 37 yrs old. My hair is now to my tailbone and healthy, thicker and no split ends. I’ve not changed anything in my routine and i usually eat healthy since in my 20’s aside from that rough patch of divorce 6 yr ago. It was just this supplement that I had changed my routine, so I have to give credit where it’s due. I am pretty much a fantatic of keeping track of what I eat, working out at the gym and maintaining my same gymnast physique since highschool. THis product is a go to and I can not live without it. When I was on vacay in Cali last October, I forgot mine and went straight to GNC and had to settle for the pill version of this. This liquid is so much better and you know it hits pretty fast as where liquid usually is better than pills.

I’m 50 and had lots of symptoms (anxiety, exhaustion, irritable bowel) and was thinking they were all related to perimenopause. Then my hair started falling out and breaking off. It was also becoming extremely fine. This final symptom sent me straight to the doctor. I told her I thought it was probably my thyroid since this runs in my family, and we ran lots and lots of lab tests. It turned out that I had a sensitivity to gluten which was causing adrenal exhaustion. The gluten was responsible for my bowel symptoms, while my adrenal exhaustion was responsible for my hormones being so messed up, which was causing my hair to change. Once I went gluten free, many of my symptoms went away and I was feeling better than I had in years, but I needed something to get my hair back to what it used to be. I didn’t really think supplements would do much for me since I already ate a healthy diet of whole foods, took a daily vitamin and ran a few miles most days. I tried some hair vitamins that didn’t really help, and then read about biosil. Within a week my hair started feeling like it used to, and I could tell it was a bit stronger. The breakage stopped and the strands felt a bit thicker and stronger. It didn’t help my hair grow any faster. I’ve been using it for about 3 months and my hair is looking and feeling much better. It has a lot of growing out to do, which I realize will take time. I also have lots of new baby hairs coming in. I’m not sure if the new hair growth can be attributed to the biosil, or if it’s just my body becoming healthy again now that I’m not ingesting the gluten, which my body sees as toxic. I didn’t notice any difference in my skin or nails, but I have good strong nails already and good skin. I did notice an improvement in my joints with less discomfort in my hips and ankles from running. It’s a well known fact that as we age, collagen production slows, so I think this is a great supplement for me and will probably never stop taking it.
