It’s a oil sauve so it lasts a long time, and it does. It has a sweet 🌹 scent. I highly recommend this product. You will love it. 🩷
Ditz At The Ritz –
The concept of this is lovely, a thick balm that melts into an oil almost instantaneously. It’s sort of like maybe coconut oil, which melts upon touch. If you don’t like mess, this is way less messy/slick than pouring out an oil, and it’s easy to do small swipes at a time to control the amount of oil. In fact, you don’t need to get a chunk out, you merely let some melt on your fingers and spread. It soaked in easily and didn’t leave me shiny. My problem is the scent I choose. It’s a yummy vanilla when uncapped, but when it’s capped I strongly get rose – in other words, the floral notes are stronger than the vanilla. Once applied, it reminds me of sugar like cotton candy, followed again by heavy floral. So it’s a bit of a shapeshifter (or smellshifter). All of the smells are very nice, but they’re too floral for me and my ridiculously strong nose. I can’t imagine using a large amount of this at any single time. But that’s my stupid nose, everyone will be different. I’m torn between giving it a 3 or a 4, but will give 4 because it may be an issue only with this scent.

This Rose balm is actually a blend of different essential oils. You can read the product description for the full list. There is some rose in here – but rose is a very expensive oil, and you aren’t going to find this quantity of balm with 100% rose oil being sold for $14.99 (plus a current discount).
The inclusion of rose is highlighted here, not only in the product description, but also by the lovely image of a rose which graces the top of the round tin. But rose is but one player in a symphony of blended scents. Overall the blend is very nice. The scent of cedar overpowers the rose a bit in my opinion. It’s still a pleasant fragrance, though.
This balm is a bit on the heavy side, and it’s somewhat oily, perhaps due to the inclusion of essential oils. The ingredients list reveals a variety of natural oils present in this balm. This perfumed balm is pleasant to use if you give it time to settle into your skin. Initially it’s a bit oily, but that is not a prolonged effect.
It’s made in China, and I appreciate the manufacturer owning up to this instead of hiding behind a “distributed by” claim, to hide the country of origin.
I like this balm, and you probably will too, if you are willing to accept a “rose” as being one component of an essential oil blend.

I give this credit for being made a mostly very natural ingredients . And I was really looking forward to using it because I love the scent of everything in it but geranium -and unfortunately the geranium is the strongest scent. It does not smell like vanilla. I also just noticed that it was made in China once I received it. I’m always suspicious of the products there from prior things I’ve heard, I will be returning .
Oh and for some reason it had added petroleum in an otherwise “natural” ingredient list

This is the second scent that I’ve tried and it is as nice and calming as the first. This body butter is so full of good for us oils and essentials.
I really appreciate the Non-GMO formula they have created here. Cruelty and chemical free.
The scent is absolutely intoxicating without being off-putting or offensive to others. I asked several. They found it very nice. It does last for 24 hours. It seemed to penetrate my skin, unlike lotions that only coat the top layer. It leaves a beautiful, long lasting glow.
I miss the days of old when getting fancied up included a fragrance. In the past decade so many people have become ‘allergic’ you’ll get comments on anything that lingers. I didn’t seem to have that problem with this.
The nostalgic old school tin is beautiful on my vanity. The box is so pretty. I am going to add some to my cart for my home spa night gift bags.
