Wow! This oil is perfect. I used to have oily skin and would have to blot or apply setting powder several times a day. Since switching to using this over a hydrosol, my skin is smooth, even, and only my nose gets slightly oily by end of the day. It feels more emollient than a lot of face oils so it has a thick “lotion-y” feel going on, but then it actually soaks in! It might possibly have natural spf properties, but I’m not sure yet if that’s true. Still love it!

I have been using a different brand of red raspberry seed oil for over three years. I love red raspberry seed oil for moisturizing my face – a few drops morning and night leaves my skin glowing. However, the previous product I was using was not organic, so I decided to look for an organic version within my price range. That’s when I found this product by Bella Terra Oils. When I first opened the bottle, the oil was much lighter in color and scent and had a thinner viscosity from what I was used to with the other brand, so at first I was worried it wasn’t the right kind. After using it for several days now, however, I LOVE this oil. My skin is clearer, smoother, softer, and more hydrated than it was using the other brand, and I actually love how the lighter texture feels on my skin. The lighter scent is a plus, too. Will continue using!

I was going to wait the 2 weeks it takes for skin to adjust to a new product, but the results of this are so fast! I’ve been using this for about five days and my mild acne is already healing, my scars are slowly fading, and my overall complexion is improved! The very first night I noticed it was making a difference. Not only that, but the texture is silky and smooth! Only thing is, it leaves my face a little shiny for awhile.
I haven’t tested the SPF effects yet, but I will update my review once I have!
Edit: After an unexpected task for my job requiring me to be in the sun for hours arose, the only part of my body that didn’t burn a lot was my face! I was still a little pink but it was much better than the back of my neck where I hadn’t applied anything.

ADORE THIS OIL. I purchased this around the end of March as an alternative to sunscreen, and I wanted to wait a few months before leaving a review. This oil is magic #preachtoeveryone! I mixed this with with my facial moisturizer as well as my leave-in hair conditioner. I have large pores/combination skin, and break outs every so often. So imagine my immense pleasure when after about 2ish-3ish months go by and my acne scars have healed and lightened up considerably.
I mean O.M.G #Bless. Skin tone evened out, friends were saying how nice was my skin looked…I have tried so many thing to improve my skin for many years, and nothing compared to this. If I did have a minor break out, this oil healed the area and left only glowing skin 2 days later.
And let me let YOU know…#curlyhairproblems #solved. That strange, shorter sometimes thinner/thicker hair at the crown of people’s head (Yes, this is a thing), this stuff helps that too. Like I wrote above, I mixed this with my leave-in conditioner, the hair at the crown of my head was literally only about 3-4inches and a different thicker type texture than the rest of my fine hair has started to grow.
I can’t stop telling people about this – I had my room mate try it when her make up messed up her face, she has sensitive dry pale-pinky skin…she woke up the next morning with 0 redness and feeling hydrated…people! People! How does an oil hydrate when it in its self is a water repeller. I’m not a scientist. All I know is I love this stuff and hope it get’s back in stock soon, as I want to send this to my mum who is starting to look a bit tired. #Momsshouldliveforever

I loved the first bottle and am now on my second. A lovely, light oil that blends into skin almost instantly, feels immediately soothing, and calms redness overnight. Has a pleasant fragrance that is so faint it is practically unnoticeable. I use this oil morning and evening. Purchased originally because I had read that one property of red raspberry seed oil is to act like a low SPF sunscreen. Although I wouldn’t wear it in a blazing noon sun, on a day when I won’t be out long and will be wearing a hat, I find this keeps my face cool and comfortable and my skin doesn’t tan or burn. I want to make clear that while I would still add a non-nano mineral sunblock on bright days when I know I will be outdoors for a long time, this oil now substitutes for all other creams and lotions I used to put on my face. A little goes a very long way, and no chemicals!
