When I first opened this I thought, another loser. I couldn’t readily see how to open it at all, to put in batteries. Then I read the directions, duh. Well that was easy enough, still it seemed clunky, plastic, cheap, and the spin power sounded and seemed weak – enough so that I wondered if the batteries I just put in were good. Then I used it. Wow, I am sold. This really is the bomb.
I don’t want froth. I use a tablespoon of coconut milk powder and mct oil in my coffee and it is very difficult to get it all dissolved. I’ve tried two different electric frother/stirrer products, both failed within a month, for different reasons. One just stopped working, power had been slowing, recharging didn’t help. The other was poorly made, two of the three wands wouldn’t insert and the one that did slung the coffee everywhere, even at low speed. So I tried this product.
It blends the powder mix into the coffee in a few seconds, faster than any other I tried. There seems to be a lower power but it’s easily enough that you don’t need any more and this doesn’t slosh the liquid out of the cup. I guess it must be the design of the paddle. I don’t know how it would be for froth but I don’t want it so haven’t tried for that. I tried it for other powder mixes in nutmilks and it is just as effective. I haven’t tried it for powders in a thicker base, like a smoothie or such, so it may not be as effective there, but for thickness up to the heavy cream level it works great.
I had some concern about batteries, in that I wanted rechargeable, but I think I’m better off with this because when it starts to slow down, I can fix that – unlike the ones that just slowly degrade to the point you have to keep them plugged in to keep them working, a problem I’ve had with other small electric appliances that end up not really “cordless” after a while.
So overall I am really pleased with this product, it does my coffee mix in nothing flat, no splatter. A quick swish under the faucet cleans it, just love it. It isn’t sleek and stylish with a stand to keep on the counter, but this one works, the sleek stylish one doesn’t. I’ll trade form for function any day, especially first thing in the morning before coffee.

Very disappointed in this. I bought it to mix protein powder into milk without getting tons of frothy bubbles that come from frothers or blenders so I was excited for this product. It seemed to do exactly what I wanted. But when I tried it out today for the first time it was so weak! Almost like a kids toy. Pushed all the way down it was hardly even turning the milk at the top.
And then after a minute or two of trying to mix I took a drink and found un mixed chunks still! So I had to pull out a frother to finish the job. So much for being “better than a frother”

Honestly, I saw the one star review and had to see for myself. Thank god I did because they couldn’t have been more wrong, I don’t know what they thought the product would’ve been but it works absolutely beautifully. I had a metal one from another brand and it doesn’t blend my collagen nearly as well as this one does. The complex end provides space and ease to blend powders completely and strong enough so there’s no residue. Plus I find it so much easier to clean, I don’t know what children’s toys the other comment is using but put me on because I love this product. Please do yourself a favor and buy one, you won’t regret it.

Comparing this to a frother we were using for mixing, and actually feel like the frother did a better job. The paddle on this works fine, but in a coffee cup the frother seems to pull things to the bottom better than this. If you are using a larger cup, or blending protein for example, this thing is great. The coffee cup in the morning can make a mess if you are not careful.
