I have purchased many lint/pill removers in my time and this one is the best by far!! It worked great removing the mess my cat’s made on my arm chair, not perfect by any means but looks so much nicer now. Got this because two of our blankets had a lot of pills on them. It worked amazing. It is small and fits well in your hand. It easily glides over any fabric and can cut bigger or smaller pills of fabric, even cut some random long strings it had as well. I used it for about 45 min straight, doing 1 full side of a blanket, then spot touched up the other blanket. It did not get hot, the batteries lasted and the blades did not get dull. Very easy to use and understand.

I had high hopes for the BEAUTURAL Fabric Shaver and Lint Remover after reading so many glowing reviews, but my experience has been a bit underwhelming. While it works well for certain fabrics, it falls short when dealing with more stubborn pilling.
What I Like:
1. Design and Build: The shaver has a sleek and lightweight design that feels comfortable in hand. It’s easy to maneuver over clothing and larger items like blankets. The large shaving head covers a decent area, speeding up the process.
2. Adjustable Settings: It’s great to have options for different fabric types, thanks to the adjustable height and three different blade settings. This makes it versatile for delicate fabrics like sweaters or more durable materials like upholstery.
3. Ease of Cleaning: The detachable lint container is easy to empty, and the included cleaning brush helps maintain the blades.
Where It Falls Short:
1. Performance on Stubborn Pills: For lightly pilled garments or soft fabrics, it works well enough. However, when it comes to heavy-duty pilling or stubborn lint on thicker fabrics like wool coats or couch cushions, the BEAUTURAL shaver doesn’t quite deliver. Even with multiple passes, it struggles to remove tougher pills, leaving the fabric still looking worn.
2. Battery Life: If you’re using it for larger items, be prepared to swap out batteries often, as it drains power faster than I expected. A rechargeable option would have been much more convenient.
3. Durability of Blades: After several uses, I’ve noticed the blades don’t seem as sharp as they were initially. This decline in performance over time is disappointing for a product that’s supposed to handle regular fabric maintenance.
Conclusion:
The BEAUTURAL Fabric Shaver and Lint Remover is decent for light-duty fabric care, but if you’re dealing with stubborn pilling or heavier fabrics, it’s not quite up to the task. It’s great for touch-ups and maintaining lightly pilled clothing but lacks the power and efficiency I was hoping for.
For now, it’s a 3-star product. It’s functional, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something heavy-duty.

Our kids’ pants are constantly getting nubby and we didn’t know something like this existed until someone shared it with us. It works amazingly well and is so satisfying. Love that it plugs in but also offers battery power for on the go. It has two speed settings and is as easy as ironing your clothes (but a lot lighter and portable!).

Popped two AA batteries in and went to town on my couch. It has a plastic attachment to the shaver that you can adjust “thick” or “thin” but I found it most effective to just leave it off. It made a big difference right away, shaving away the piling on my couch. It is small and easy to use, and comes with multiple attachments. The compartment that catches the fuzz was full by the time I was done but it was easy to clean out. The battery life is yet to be determined but I easily spent 20 minutes on my couch cushions on the highest setting and it never faltered. Overall great quality for the price.
