BC Headache Powder works very well on headaches. I’ve used Tylenol for 30 years and am still very satisfied with it, but I wanted to get a product that I could alternate with Tylenol instead of using one kind all the time. I tried BC powder and it worked very quickly. I will continue using it.

I had never heard of BC until I was in Detroit for a wedding and had it recommended to me by 2 different people in a matter of hours. I have suffered from horrible hangovers since I started drinking (like all day headache from 2 glasses of wine) and have been searching for a good morning-after solution. I purchased these and have been blown away by the results. It’s not perfect, and doesn’t help much with any stomach issues (aside from making you drink a lot of water), but it DOES almost instantly clear up any headache or body aches. If you’ve tried everything but this and have resigned yourself to a horrible hangover every time, TRY THIS, you will NOT regret it!

This stuff is my go-to for hangovers…
I’m not sure exactly why, but I’m someone who gets dehydrated VERY easily. I try drinking tons of electrolytes and water before going to sleep, but inevitably, when I wake up after a night of consuming alcohol, my head is almost always in a good deal of pain. Now, I should warn you that this stuff tastes pretty foul by itself. Make sure you have some juice, or something with a strong flavor to wash it down with. I recommend putting it under your tongue, and swishing it around with the juice to avoid the bitter chalkiness. Take it, go back to sleep for an hour or two, and that should do the trick.

The product description here says it is the ORIGINAL formula. This WAS a great product. However what is being sold IS NOT THE ORIGINAL FORMULA but the NEW formula (as seen on the box in the photo.
The big difference is that the Original formula contained Salicylamide (along with aspirin and caffeine). The salicylamide is no longer in the formula. It is the ingredient that made these powders so effective for me. So the NEW formula is what I am giving the one star rating to…what you will likely receive even though the ad says differently. Beware of this incorrect product advertising!
I have searched for the Original formula and it is very difficult to find, only old stock that has not been sold out is available if you can find it.
HOWEVER THERE IS A WAY TO GET THE SAME THING IF IT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU:
If the Original formula of BC Headache Powders worked for you and you would like to get the same thing you can! And perhaps for less money. You just need to go to your doctor and have her write for the ingredients in this just like any other prescription and find a COMPOUNDING PHARMACY in your area. Your average pharmacy will not be able to do this for you so ask your regular pharmacy who is a compounding pharmacy to go to. Personally I altered the ingredients slightly for my own formula. To keep the price down on this instead of having the pharmacy fill the prescription by putting the exact amount of powder in to capsules which is time consuming I just have them give me a bottle with a small scoop in it that measures out the dosage. I paid $10.00 for a large quantity of this…equal to at least 150 packets in the BC boxes, a good buy.
As for the ORIGINAL formula I would give this product a 5 star rating. For the new formula I would give it a one star as it is worthless for my headaches.
I have contacted all the vendors to ask if the product advertised here was the correct product or if it was indeed just the new product and so far all the vendors have said that they did not have the Original formula as advertised and would request Amazon to change the ad. So don’t expect to receive the Original formula unless you contact the vendor first and ensure they have some old stock. So far I have not found any.
