Shampoo lathers OK and cleans the hair well without leaving it feeling squeaky clean. Hair is not oily, it’s nicely cleansed, but does not feel stripped.
The formula is not too heavy and it doesn’t suck all the volume out of my hair.
I got the Cucumber & Aloe scent because I like fragrance in shampoo, but I was surprised that this was rather strong and fake smelling for a baby shampoo. It does smell like cucumber, but instead of being light and fresh, it is strong and heavy and kind of fake. I don’t particularly care for it.
If you’re opting for this product for baby, I recommend the unscented one as the formula is quite gently and cleans well.

We’ve tried a few different shampoo/body wash combos for our first child and they were all fun but I was excited to see this one by BB&CO and had to get it for our second child.
She’s still a newborn and we’ve used BB&CO’s shampoo/wash for both spit baths and full baths and we’ve been very impressed.
What we like:
– Most importantly, it’s been very gentle on her sensitive skin.
– It washes well ( especially for being soap-free), but gently and washes away well with no residue
– Tear-free.
– NO EDCS or phthalate, sulfates, parables, fake fragrances & dyes, and common allergens
– The formula is plenty thick/viscous. At least as much as competitors.
– I only need a little bit. I think the bottle is going to last us at least a year at the rate we’ve been using it.
– Very mild but very fresh, clean scent. Really lovely.
It just is one of those products you can tell a lot of thought and designing went into it and it shows. I am grateful for this very gentle baby shampoo/body wash. There is great peace of mind knowing great care was put into her soap and it is safe for her.
I highly recommend this product for baby shampoo and body wash. We’ve been impressed. It’s a good deal and a great product. We’ll be buying this one when we run out!

I got the cucumber and aloe, it smells great. It does have added fragrance but the label does say it isn’t artificial fragrance. I actually mixed a tiny amount of this with another fragrance free shampoo/body wash that we currently use, so baby gets a tiny hint of this smell on his hair. He smelled really nice after his bath. Although the fragrance is by no means overwhelming, I think the scent could be toned down even more. We just wanted a little bit of the fragrance but if you are someone that prefers unscented, they also have a fragrance free version.
I like the consistency (clear gel like) of this product. Before using it on my little one I washed my hands with it and it didn’t feel drying. This product is tear free/soap free but the back of the bottle does say to avoid direct contact with eyes and inner ears. My husband was washing this off baby’s hair and accidentally got some of this and water in his eyes, and he wasn’t too happy. He kept rubbing his eyes even after we were getting him dressed as his eyes turned reddish. We had already dabbed his eyes with some soft tissue paper, but it still seemed to irritate him. I’m not sure if this product is what was irritating or the water, so I don’t know what the “tear free” really means. It wasn’t anything serious though, and baby was fine in under 10 minutes.
Overall I like this wash and shampoo combo, good product for little ones (or adults!). I do like this Cucumber Aloe scent, which makes me also want to try the Summer Breeze. This is made in the USA, if that is important to you.

This product is advertised as a shampoo and body wash. However, upon first use, this product is extremely fluid; when you squeeze it into your hand it just pours right out.
For washing your hair, it takes more product than a typical shampoo, and you really have to rub it around to get a lather. It’s too thin.
For use as a body wash it seems to work OK it’s also extremely fluid, so use a shower puff or washcloth. It seems to clean well and rinse easily with no objectionable scent.
If you are looking for an unscented product, this does not have any perfumes or fragrances in the ingredients list and just by smelling it and use I can’t detect any smell, unless perhaps a very, very faint aloe scent, nothing weird.
Perhaps this would be better as a bubble bath.
Overall, if you’re looking for an unscented product without toxic ingredients, this seems like a good choice.
However, if you’re looking for a shampoo and body wash, I would recommend this manufacturer at least double or triple the thickness, because it is almost like water pouring out of your hand.

I’ve been searching for the perfect shampoo & body wash. I finally stumbled upon it. This is it for me! It contains all natural ingredients without the stuff that is carcinogenic. The unscented option actually has a delightful very light refreshing “scent”. Since I’ve been using it, the dermatitis on my scalp has gradually disappeared. I use it all over my body because it lends such a soft touch to my skin. I even use it as hand soap. The aloe in it is just enough to promote healing of cracked, bleeding hands as well as scalp dermatitis & other skin problems. Even though it is thinner than some body washes & shampoos, a little goes a really long way. Try a bottle of it. If you don’t like it, you actually can return it free. It’s worth it! And no, I was NOT paid to post this. It’s the real McCoy!
