Nice product, easy on skin yet cleans and leaves a mild scent. Not too soapy. Bottled did leak on arival after first use so needed to tighten the caps. They need tightening freqàuently or the liquid leaks out of the screw top when you squeeze the bottle or rest it on it’s top. I have laid then sideways and that solves the issue.

I don’t usually write reviews, but the seller reached out for one so here goes. The product lathers well and my skin feels moisturized, but I don’t smell the citrus components, if you are looking for something that will linger on your skin then this is not the product for you. I can’t say that I am totally disappointed because the price point is good for the size and effectiveness of the product it just lacks fragrance.

So the reviews is what convinced me to buy this body wash. I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s not a bad product, it’s just not the same quality of what I was trying to replace for simple convenience.
I love the smell of Sandalwood and I wanted something that I love and have it subscribed every few weeks. I’m thinking this is it !
But …, after using it a couple of times I’m just like it’s ok …. The smell is not overwhelming it’s very settled and soft, it lathers decent, it does have moisture in the texture; but that’s where I think I get thrown off,
It’s not balanced.
I use shower gloves and every time I use it the lather and moisture of the product seem to be fighting against each other if that makes any sense… and when I’m done with my shower my skin feels dry. So I’m guessing the moisturizer lost.
I decided to cancel my subscription, and just keep reordering my original product. Just sucks that there is no subscription available for it! I use the Nubian Heritage in Patchouli and Buriti body wash.

This is my husband’s favorite body wash. We went to nontoxic personal care products many years ago because of allergy and skin issues. (Google the ingredients in regular products or type in “dangers of” and then the name of the ingredient. You’ll be surprised at the number of cancer causing and endocrine disrupting ingredients that are allowed in products!) This sandalwood body wash has a nice, masculine smell that doesn’t smell too strong or artificial. (Strong artificial smells trigger migraines for me). It doesn’t have the toxic ingredients found in most products that you find at big box stores, either. Yes, it is more expensive than the less healthy alternatives, but with cancer being so prevalent in today’s society, we’ll keep spending a little more money for products that are healthier for us.

This review is negative. And I am actually sad to write it because I loved the original product that much.
The original formula for this Sandalwood body wash was the best I have ever used. The wash was luxuriously thick and smelled so good that it literally hooked me without any advertising needed. A dime-size drop is all that was needed to wash my entire body. I kid you not. I told everyone to try it.
As with their sandalwood lotion, the second bottle I over-joyfully purchased was crap. The thick, luxurious body wash was diluted so much it literally looked like hair conditioner. Even the company themselves had to change the pump to accommodate the thin, runny new formula.
Again, as with their sandalwood lotion, I bought a third bottle, now more expensive for half as much, to see if they made or corrected a mistake. Nope. It barely has that overwhelmingly beautiful smell that took me to spectacular places before. Now, just like with their sandalwood lotion, BASD removed most of its perfect smell and diluted it to being like a runny hair conditioner.
This company’s business model includes launching a pricey, premium product, luring customers in, then drastically reducing the quality of the product, while increasing its price/profit margin.
Change this policy, BASD, please. Bring back the original formula and you will make a fortune from it. As the sandalwood product stands now, it isn’t even of medium quality.
I truly don’t know how they could have improved the original formula. It was perfect!
Let’s boycott all companies that devalue the customer by reducing quality, increasing the price and stealing all the value of the product for themselves.

Love, love this body wash! It is moisturizing but doesn’t leave a film, cleans well and the Seductive Sandalwood scent is incredible. Great for shaving too!
