These are essentially date and nut bars with some trace mushrooms as the very last ingredient on the list. Not sure what I was expecting, or what people are expected given the heavy emphasis on the mushroom component in the bars.
Pros:
– few, natural ingredients.
– Good flavor

– most of the flabor and texture comes from dates. IF you don’t like dates, you won’t like this bar.
– you can taste anything mushroom related
– Mushrooms are the last ingredient (least present in these bars)
– box it came in was completely destroyed from shipping. Bars were fine.
Overall these are good bars, natural, chewy. Not sure why the heavy emphasis on the mushroom component. 4 stars

The taste of these are fine. There is no noticeable cognitive benefit from consuming these mushroom bars, however. At least, nothing that could be easily registered. I wish they had some more protein in them, and then I might justify eating them on a more regular basis. Otherwise, this is an okay product but nothing to write home about!

these are great! was curious if i would feel any immediate effects from the mushrooms, but for the most part, i’m using these as a little sweet treat after dinner, so it’s probably not the best time to gauge those affects. they are more than likely giving me a boost of energy at night when i need it the least! with that said, they are very tasty snacks, this 12 pack is abundant and i find myself having one a day so far. i wouldn’t mind some more chunky texture with the nuts and fruit, but imagine it’s got a fairly earthy texture as is. they aren’t dry or oily, but something right in the middle of being perfectly shelf stable. seems like this company cares about its product and the packaging was fit for a small shop to sell straight out of the box. very cool. looking forward to exploring this brand and finding other natural treats they may offer

These are yummy. Not like I was expecting at all. A lot of other bars I’ve tried in this category were dry and didn’t taste good. These were moist and flavorful and I definitely tasted the chocolate cherry. I have played around with all of the mushroom/adaptogen powders in the past and ended up deciding they weren’t for me. I can’t remember exactly what it was that turned me off from them but I think it was the low blood pressure issues I was having. I typically have low blood pressure and some of the mushrooms are known for lowering blood pressure, but I did not have any issues with these bars. But then again, I was not eating them everyday as I was when I was mixing adaptogens into my morning shakes. So just something to keep in mind as I know adaptogens can also interact with some medications or not be good if you have an autoimmune condition. Everyone is different though, so do your research. As far as these bars go, I would try them again in different flavors and recommend them to others whom I know use adaptogen mushrooms regularly. But as for me, I generally only purchase protein bars these days. If these had a higher protein content, I’d purchase, because they really do taste good.

This bar was smaller than most protein bars I’ve tried, but still packs a nutrition punch. It is made of cleaner whole-food ingredients than most bars, which makes it easier for my body to absorb. I’ve noticed it’s easier on my digestion than other bars, and definitely satiates my hunger.

It’s unfortunate that this package arrived ripped to shreds (Amazon’s fault), but individual packages were in good condition.
That being said, these bars taste Great! I love the texture, moistness, and flavor. I received the chocolate cherry. Nice dark chocolate flavor, which isn’t too sweet. Getting all these wholesome functional mushrooms in a bar with no weird sweeteners, only coconut sugar and dates, makes me happy! I will continue to buy these.

These organic bars taste great and have minimal ingredients but a whole lot of goodness. And no hidden additives. My wife even likes these, especially because they are not super sweat and have a nice choco-cherry flavor. The main ingredient is dates so they have the consistency of a Lara bar. I don’t know if the mushrooms in these are in high enough amounts to make a difference but they certainly don’t hurt. I’ll be getting these again as they are my go-to snack bar that are not “protein” bars.
