Firstly, be advised that any food item with Ashwagandha is going to give your body the same impact as a product with caffeine in that it can keep you up at night (ask me how I know). Secondly, the chocolate melts so easily that it is all over your hands instantly. Don’t eat one of these while driving or it will get all over the place.
Otherwise, these are good. I like that they aren’t so sweet and that they have relatively low carbs/sugars for the protein level.

Annoyed bc I fell for buying this. Missed the small ‘4 count’ in the description.. Though the pictures showed a 12 count box.
Bars are fine. I like atlas bars.. But would have purchased different ones had I known it was the 4 count.
Update: Atlas made it right. Just be sure to double check the description!

The manufacturer took note of my 1 star review for their new formulation for another flavor and reached out to me personally, offering to send me new ones with a different formulation. It arrived today. It is absolutely identical to the one I reviewed, and it is just nasty. It’s wrong. It’s nothing like the good, nay even great bars they used to make. It’s an insult to their customer base that they think we’d just keep eating these things after they RUINED them.
Bring back the old formulation. Mess with success and success will go away. I certainly am going away. You couldn’t give me these things for free and expect me to eat them.
And indeed they did give them to me for free. I might donate them to a soup kitchen, I don’t know but I wouldn’t eat them myself or serve them in my home. No way.

These bars were thin and chewy, which I personally liked. The flavor is low key but not bad. It’s not at all sweet, which is what I cared about most. It’s fairly filling for just a protein bar. It does offer some sustainable energy after eating in the mornings. I liked that these bars have a lot of ashwagandha. I felt a sense of calmness after eating these bars. It didn’t last very long, but still was noticeable. That’s what made these bars unique compared to others with similar texture and protein & fiber content. The focus on mind is no lie.

Update, I added one more star because they reached out to me to offer a refund. I appreciate that. I do like other flavors, but this plant protein one just didn’t work out. So far the favorite flavor is the peanut butter chocolate chip, second favorite, so far is the mint chocolate chip, although it’s quite hard to chew. I will keep trying the other non-plant-based flavors.
I am a fan of the spirit & ingredients behind this company & as a dietitian have recommended them. But this new formulation is SO terrible, I mean really bad! I have a very low bar for what I’ll eat taste wise, but even I will not eat this new plant based version!! I feel tricked because the old version of chocolate was NOT plant based with soy etc, and it’s tasted decent. This one is truly like tree bark!! I’m super frustrated that I can’t return them!!! I did not realize they were plant-based until they arrived 😭

In looking for protein bars with a low sugar content, i found Atlas bars. Depending on the flavor, these bars have inly 1 or 2 grams of sugar and NO artificial sweeteners. Taste is not their strong point, but the Space and Coconut-Almond flavors are decent and the taste gets better after you’ve eaten a few. I recommend trying these bars if you are looking for high protein and low sugar. They also contain ashwagandha.

I’ve been getting this product for a few monthsand really like it. I have a very restrictive diet due to food allergies and this I can have! But I noticed the dark chocolate and sea salt bar is different this time. It’s thicker for one thing and the color of the box is different as well. Did you change the ingredients? I’ve looked in my order history & the previous orders had the word “mind” in the title. Did I order the wrong one this time?

I am very disappointed. I buy this box every month and spend lots of money for Atlas. I love the bars. The last box came squished and the bars were flat pancakes not edible. You don’t even offer a refund. I’m going to be calling Amazon.
