*Update on 9/14/23: Atlas Customer service reached out to me after I had posted my review below; they were gracious and helpful in providing an agreeable resolution. I am updating my rating to 5 stars (from a previous 3-star rating) due to their responsiveness. While I will stick to more tried and true items rather than a high-protein bar in the future, I just wanted to add this update.
I wanted so much for this bar to work for me (chocolate peanut butter), as it has seemingly great ingredients with few fillers. Unfortunately, something about it did not work for my body. After one week (one bar per day, 4 days) of consumption marked by an increasing physiological aversion, I could no longer eat a bite on my second week. It also made me feel a little nauseous afterward. Maybe it’s the stevia, maybe it’s the whey…or texture, and it could be that I have some sensitivity to one of the ingredients. Tried to take a bite today (2 weeks later) and had strong revulsion after one bite. My bar did not get oily, but it had a strange mostly crunchy texture My experience does not seem to be echoed my many others’ and from an intellectual standpoint, this is a great bar. But, it is sadly not for me.

I tried these a while back with the old label and decided to try the variety because I was told other flavors were better. I have tried 3 out of the pack now, peanut butter, mint and raspberry and the texture has been improved upon tremendously. I thought I’d hate the mint but it’s so mild and is perfect with the chocolate that my picky daughter actually snatched it and finished it off. Ingredients are still clean and they are so enjoyable now! I bumped them from 4 stars to 5!
I love the fact that these bars have ashwaganda and clean ingredients and that they are keto friendly with no added sugar. The flavor is great (I got peanut butter chocolate chip) and I didn’t notice a bitter taste like others had mentioned.. the texture is where I trip up a bit, it’s not chewy like RX bars which stick to my teeth and are quite annoying to eat, it’s more of a stiff pressed bar, almost like it was supposed to be soft and dried up or supposed to be hard and softened up, that being said it’s the only “downfall” and still one of the better bars I have had! I took a bite and left it on the counter then kept coming back for another bite and another bite until the bar was gone. The texture won’t stop me from purchasing another pack and it has honestly grown on me. The price is steep at 2.50 a bar but compares to some of the store brands with a lot junkier ingredients.

These are definitely for the health minded person! I eat an extremely clean diet, and these are the perfect fit. Minimally process no artificial anything, 20 g of protein, and taste great! If you For a protein bar that taste great and You eat a very clean diet. This is for you! These were recommended by my nutritionist.

I have been eating these bars for over a year and I love them. However, new research shows that 300 mgs Ashwagndha per bar may cause LIVER DAMAGE. A recent blood test showed that all my liver enzyme levels have been climbing since about the time I started eating these.
I emailed the company THREE times and they completely stonewalled me. I have mailed them in the past and they always got right back to me. I’ve stopped eating them on my Dr’s advice but am not happy with their handling of this. I may have to have my lawyer send them a certified letter to get their attention. Really disappointed and upset. All they have to do is remove this TOXIC herb and their product would be perfect!

Protein and ashwaganda all in one?? This protein bar lets me get several supplements in at once with a great taste! I love the texture of this bar and I feel full after eating one of these bars after my workouts or for breakfast! I feel like I have great energy during the day when I eat these and it makes getting enough protein a breeze! The quality is great and I will continue purchasing these bars.

Good taste and I don’t get farts like with other cheap, crap filled bars. Highly recommend!
