I have had the vanilla, triple chocolate and PB versions of the power crunch bars and those are all very good. The cookies & cream flavor however tastes very strongly of fake sugar. For some reason the other flavors do a better job at masking this, the C&C does not.
I recommend having these with a hot drink, if you drink something cold while eating them you get a weird filmy coating to the roof of your mouth. All flavors work well at keeping hunger away for 3 hours and do not cause gastric distress like some low carb bars can. I prefer the other flavors over the C&C, but these are fine if the other flavors are gone and I need a quick bite with my morning coffee.
I do not crave sweets after I eat a power crunch bar; sometimes sugar substitutes make me want to eat more sugar, but these actually cut my sweet tooth off at the pass.

I am addicted to powercrunch bars. Soy does not sit well in my stomach but whey does and these have no soy protein in them. But unfortunately some of the flavors have an after taste to them and I am sensitive to that. The vanilla flavor is the worst I think. I don’t like that flavor of these bars. But I LOVE the peanut butter ones. I don’t find any after taste in them. But for a change up I decided to get the cookies and creme which is not too bad either. It does have an after taste but it tastes a lot better than the vanilla ones. But it has a super sweet taste compared to the peanut butter creme. Really, the peanut butter creme is the flavor I love but if I’m not careful I will eat them like candy bars and that doesn’t help the weight! I’m not so inclined to do that with the cookies and creme, and yet I don’t have any problem eating one or half a one if I need it. So maybe they are better to have on hand than the peanut butter creme ones! They taste good enough without being addictively good. 🙂

my favorite of all the flavors. hard to find now! I eat one or two a day for a meal. they are so good. i love the flavor and i love the wafer bar. i have been eating these for years now. my go to for meals and after a workout int he morning for breakfast!

This is my fav protein bar, despite not having a ton of fiber, only 1 gram. The taste, texture, whey protein mix, sweetness, has all been perfected. No artificial coloring that I am aware of, we get enough of those elsewhere. They are a legitimate wafer bar. Not the typical fiber chewy ones.
I love all flavors of this bar, they sweet taste is not fake and they are quick and easy to eat. However, they are NOT filling so you may be tempted to eat another, but in that case just mix some protein powder and you’re all filled up.
They are best used for a night snack or dessert. And the quality whey protein is superb. It’s just like a shake except add an additional 9g of fat, 4 sugar, 7 carbs. I am 10% body fat and these fit my diet nicely, 2 a day or so keeps me going between meals and after.
Best flavor, probably the peanut ones, but it is good to mix up your variety as to not get bored. None I have had are gross or funny tasting. All taste real.

These are actually really good. I ordered the cookies and cream flavor and the wafer is very crunchy, the outer chocolate coating tastes good too. It’s almost like eating a candy bar. It has a weird taste when you know they’re not using real sugar, but for an energy bar I have nothing to complain about. This would also be a good substitute when you want something sweet but don’t want to eat a candy bar. It has a lot of fat, but at least it doesn’t have a ton of sugar. I put them on monthly subscription for now.

Great taste! Summertime shipping does do a number on them being in the back of the UPS truck @ 100+ temps so I immediately put them in the refrigerator and later they were fine. No funny taste, lots of protein and nice crunch. Saves a trip to the grocery store and cheaper than most protein bars you can find with similar protein grams.
This is going to be on my auto-ship list for sure!
Even when the weather cools down I think I’ll still put them in the fridge for a cool, crunchy treat!
—Update 8/10/15, I was ordering the cookies and creme but tried the wild berry creme this time and it was great also!
I think for the price and taste these are winners for sure!
One more flavor to add to the auto ship!
I’ve not tried the others yet (besides this wild berry creme and cookies/creme) but will eventually!

Après avoir gouté pas mal de barres dont le goûts est désagréable, voire impossible à manger, je suis tombé sur ceux là qui ont largement dépassé mes attentes à ce niveau. Il est noter que chaque barre contient 12g de proteines, ce qui est un peu moins que d’autres marques
