Most people who have had bariatric surgery know that we’re sensitive to the amount of water we can consume at any one point in time. Unfortunately, I think BariSlim must have forgotten this.
The pill size is absolutely huge and requires a lot of water to go down. And, I never take a vitamin on an empty stomach, so the food in my tummy the space for water even more.
I personally think the pill size should be smaller and we just take more of them. I guess you can break the pill in two, but that’s not how the pill was made originally. I’m only reviewing the pills as-is.

I had bariatric surgery so I needed a vitamin that had everything I needed daily but I also wanted a vitamin that would be gentle on my new stomach and I found these and I love them they are easy to take and don’t have a chalky aftertaste and are gentle on my stomach since they dissolve quickly. I got bariatric surgery years ago and I am always looking for a supplement that works with my surgery. I decided to try BariSlim Once Daily Bariatric Multivitamin. I checked the list of minerals and vitamins on the back and compared it to the multivitamins I usually take. According to the listing on the back of the BariSlim, the amounts equaled or exceeded the multivitamin I usually take.
The capsule is large. The same size as my other multivitamins. So taking one a day, instead of two of my other ones is easier. If you just had surgery, the capsule might look daunting, but it seems easier to digest than tablets.
Compared to the price of other bariatric multivitamins, these are much more reasonable.

The pill is easy to swallow and there is a slight aftertaste. Sadly this vitamin is too much for my stomach and I had HORRIBLE gas pains, nausea every day that I took it and once I stopped I was good to go. I have taken the chewable vitamins by this company in the past and will stick to those instead.

It is impossible to tell if it is a natural plant based supplement or synthetic. It does offer a wide variety of beneficial nutrients and vitamins, however they may have been produced in the lab.

These are a good value in a bariatric vitamin, 90 daily doses for less than $30 is very good for price.
I had bariatric surgery 15 years ago and struggle with mineral absorption. It’s a bit of a pain to have to take vitamins every day, but I found these easy enough to swallow and liked that you only have to take them one time a day (I have to take a lot of supplements).
They came well packaged. I can’t say that I see a noticeable difference in how I feel, but I take them more for preventative reasons.

These multivitamins contain a really high amount of vitamins and is meant for people who have undergone bariatric surgary. The pills are a bit on the larger side but still easily swallowable. The brand name looks reputable and the formulation meets listed standards. The amount of iron is very high too which is important. Overall it’s solid for bariatric patients.
