My husband and I have been taking Omega-3’s for years for heart health and to help keep our cholesterol in check. We are always open to trying new brands!
The recommended serving size is two soft gels.
The soft gels are on the larger side but that is normally the case with fish oil/Omega-3 supplements. However, the super smooth gel coating prevents them from getting stuck in your throat. While they look a bit large at first sight, they really aren’t difficult to swallow at all. My husband isn’t a big pill person and he has no problem with these at all.
No fishy taste or the dreaded fish burps. That is one thing that I love about these because those dreaded fish burps can be awful at times and seem to stay with you all day long!
The fish oil inside must be quite desirable because our cats always seek them out. If I leave my husband’s vitamins in a small cup for him to take in the morning (he always forgets if they aren’t out), our cats will find that fish oil no matter where I put it in the kitchen!!!
The packaging looks premium. It reminds me of something you would find at a vitamin specialty store.
I have a sensitive system and some supplements can make me queasy, even when taken with food. I didn’t experience any negative side effects or digestive upsets after taking these.

At first no issue. No fishy smell, but about 2-3 weeks in the bottle smells like fish. Once out and down, no fishy burbs. I’ll probably switch to krill next time. It was kept in a dark cool cabinet and seem ok, but certainly thinking twice about finishing.

Finally, a way to supplement my low “good” cholesterol without those funky fish burps that turn most of us off of fish oil. 1290mg of fish oil (from wild caught) per little soft gel which will cover your Omega-3, EPA and DHA. You get 90 softgels and a serving size is 2 per day for a 45 day supply. Treat your heart and your brain to some non fishy fish oil. It’s no doubt the best way to get those mch needed essential fatty acids for brain and cardiovascular health. Absolutely recommend.

I take fish oil supplements for the many health benefits associated with it and I’ve always felt they benefited me. I take fish oil for my dry eye and I do believe it helps. I also take this for my joints and my hair and skin, it definitely helps.
This particular supplement by bare performance nutrition has quite a lot of Omega 3 fatty acids in it and I’m only taking one softgel per day instead of two. I will a 90 day supply of this fish oil which makes it much more affordable for me. The current price of $45.00 isn’t too bad if I only have to buy this every 3 months.
I’ve not experienced any fishy burps with this supplement but I do freeze my fish oil and I feel it helps prevent the fishy burps.
The softgels are quite large as are most fish oil supplements but I’m easily able to swallow these with a glass of water.
I’m happy so far with BPN STRONG OMEGA and I hope to continue taking this fish oil long term.
