I purchased the oatmeal cookie flavor after seeing someone on social media recommend it. It’s awful! The taste is not good and it’s gritty. I double blended it in my blender and the consistency was chunky. Now I’m stuck with a big tub of it.

This used to be the most delicious protein powder (I had the oatmeal cookie flavor). I never liked vegan protein but a friend suggested this one and I could drink it with just water and actually enjoy it. So I got an Amazon subscription for it and all was great for several shipments. The last two have tasted like chalk. I thought maybe something had happened with the second to last container so I tried one more but it tastes the same so I’m wondering if they changed their formula. It went from something I looked forward to drinking to something I have to force myself to drink. Not worth it.

I would say the ingredients are good. However, the taste and the texture was just not what I wanted or what was expected. It smelled better than it tasted. It did t dissolve well and was gritty. I shouldn’t have had as high of expectations with it being vegan, but I was hoping for a good one finally.

This is by far the best vegan protein I’ve ever had. And I’ve spent 7 years trying multiple protein powders. Not surprised though, BPN always kills it.

WOW. This stuff is so good. I’ve been on the hunt for a good quality vegan protein powder that has more than 20g protein per serving, and I finally found one that has great macros and tastes great. My old brand had sucralose in it, and was messing my stomach up, and was sickeningly sweet. So glad I found this, this is literally the 5th vegan protein powder I’ve tried in a matter of weeks. I just bought the PB Flavor today, excited to give it a try!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I’ve been looking for a decent tasting vegan protein and this is definitely it. I am not a vegan or vegetarian, I have a lactose allergy, which makes it really difficult for me to use a protein supplement without getting really sick.
I recently tried other BPN products, and was really impressed with the quality and taste so I figured I would try this.
I ordered the peanut butter cookie flavor despite seeing that some people did not like the taste or said it didn’t taste much like peanut butter. To be fair, it doesn’t really taste like peanut butter, BUT when mixed with just water, It dissolves quickly with no chunks. It does have the semi-vegetal taste that most vegan protein powders have, but I find it to be the least bothersome of all of the vegan protein powders I have tried…. And let me tell you, I have tried all the big brands; Ghost, Orgain, Ascent, to name a few. I never thought I’d find one that was palatable enough to use on a regular basis.
I also like that you can mix it in less water and it’s not a thick consistency like some other protein powders. Most of the other ones I tried require 10 to 18 ounces of water but this protein only requires 6 to 8 and is still smooth with no chunks, with a very pleasant and drinkable texture. I also appreciate that while the flavor is not really strong or distinctly peanut butter it’s not overly flavored and does not, in my opinion, have a chemical aftertaste like some heavily flavored proteins (like Ghost or Podium).
I know everybody has different taste, but I think that out of all the plant-based protein powders I’ve tried over the last 5 to 7 years, this has been by far the best.

Very easily blends without a chalky flavor. Chocolate flavor is aggressively “tootsie roll” and not to my liking. For me, I was looking for a more milk chocolate flavor ironically given the vegan nature. Will eventually try the peanut flavor, fingers crossed.
