I’m a 41yo skincare junkie with sensative combo skin that I am obsessed with keeping as youthful and healthy looking as possible. This not only goes for my face and décolleté, but my body too. I love a good pampering sesh in the shower and this delivers just that!
The set arrived quick. While the bodywash and loofah did arrive together as a set, each was packaged seperate. The loofah was sealed in a plastic bag, so I wasn’t worried about it picking up dirt and grime during shipping and the wash was bagged and boxed.
The loofah is slightly elevated from your basic puff. It’s very thick/dense and doesn’t have that hard plastic texture to it. It really helps the product work into a gorgeous lather and in and of itself provides some nice exfoliation. I’ve thrown this in the wash machine a few times now and it always comes out clean and perfect.
The body wash is a whole other level of awesome! I’m all about reading the ingredients as I want to know exactly what I’m putting in/on my body. This formula is really packed with some incredible powerhouse skincare ingredients, so it doesn’t just clean but it hydrates, nourishes, helps with texture and really makes the skin glow.
Now, this does have walnut shell powder but make no mistake- this is NOT like that super rough and scratchy walnut scrub from back in the day (you remember the peach squeeze tube!). The shell powder is so soft and finely ground that you don’t even feel it. It doesn’t rip, tear or damage the skin in any way but it does gently remove the outer, dead layer to make way for fresh, healthy skin.
The formula is a darkish taupe color that is quite transparent. On my thickness scale (1 being water and 10 being a rich body butter) I give this a 6.5. It’s quite rich, but works into a beautiful, creamy lather full of wonderful tiny bubbles. I absolutely love how this glides across the skin and it hasn’t caused my sensative skin any irritation or adverse reactions.
I’m very sensitive to scent/fragrance, even naturally derived scents as I’m prone to migranes. But this smells absolutely DEVINE! The scent is very clean, fresh and a bit woodsy. It is not overpowering and gender neutral. It’s really invigorating in the shower and the luscious scent does stick around on the skin too.
I absolutely love it when my skincare checks multiple boxes and delivers on all of it’s claims and this formula does just that! This is so much more than a body wash- it’s glowing, healthy skin in a bottle!

I really like this bamboo charcoal body wash. The scent is probably a little bit on the manly side, but I like it much better than any sort of perfumey or floral scent, and it smells great without being overwhelming. The bottle comes with a plastic plug and is very sturdy so it holds up really well in transit. This body wash has a great lather that lasted all the way from head to toe! It is a very mild exfoliant, not anything like a sugar scrub, but did a great job leaving my skin feeling soft and healthy. It has a darker color which is kind of cool and looks nice on the loofah. The loofah is a really nice touch and looks very chic and professional with the black and gray colors. I would say it’s pretty comparable to my other loofahs though.

First, I liked the addition of the loofah. It’s slightly smaller than other loofahs I get, but it was dense and soft and it lasted a long time without unraveling, unlike the larger ones.
The body wash smells great, but it does have a traditional “manly” smell. If you’re looking for something more feminine, this is not it. It leaves me feeling clean and does not dry out my skin. The exfoliation is minimal, but I do like that it has the little balls in the soap to at least do a little something. It doesn’t leave a residue on my skin after drying off, so that is a major plus!

I really like this body wash. It cleans really well. It even takes thick layers of sunscreen off with ease. It lathers nicely and smells really fresh. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry like many charcoal soaps do. It has a good amount of exfoliation to it. My skin is feeling really smooth and healthy.

This smells really really clean. I like it. I gave it to my boyfriend. I do like the way it has a loofah with it. He said it has a nice clean feel to it. The packaging is super nice as well. Overall, this is a great purchase
being 100 –
The only reason for NOT giving a 5-star rating, is that I hold back a star IF the ad does not state ALL ingredients in the product. This can be done by showing the sides of the packaging or list all ingredients in the detail section. I say this, if people have allergies (like to nuts or certain ingredients), I 100% believe a buyer should have access to ALL information prior to purchase.
I don’t even mind if you show the box packaging which is both in Korean and English.
I believe buyers also want to see the country of origin, which I assume is Korea.
(and I have no problem with Korean beauty products)
Other than that, the product delivers.
* Product comes in a box (with the bottle inside). (and for me, that box was then in a thick plastic bag, if there was any leaking). The bottle has a plastic plug in the inside under the cap that you remove before using the press button to get product out. So overall the packaging was fine.
* The color (a black, gray, dark gel) is a bit different at first.
Usually I have clear gel body wash
And although there is to be exfoliant products in it, I did not feel any on my body
IF I did want to exfoliate, I would use the silicone sponge that comes with it – or a Loofah or a silicone body brush. I don’t mind that the exfoliant particles are small.
* The smell was heaven. I (as a female/she) personally prefer a Woodsy scent, rather than Floral.
Note to the seller: the AD could have a man using it as well, currently you show a female
I do personally think this is a unisex product.
* It DID leave my skin moisturized. I didn’t analyze which particular oil or moisturizing ingredient in the product was the result of that. But I did appreciate that you could CLEAN, EXFOLIATE and MOISTURIZE.
My review does not comment on price, or competitor products with Charcoal. As I have no prior past purchasing experience, nor did any research. My review is solely on the results of the product vs expectations.
