I’ve tried alllll of the diaper rash creams, and this one in my opinion works the best! Others are oily (Butt Paste), too thin, too thick, don’t last, don’t work, etc. Not Balmex! I’ve used this on my 2 babies now and it’s the only one I buy!!

I’ve used Balmex on my children & my grandchildren. My oldest son as a baby had terrible diaper rash. I even tried 3 different prescription products offered by my pediatrician. NOTHING worked. He would be beet red and many times be bleeding. I learned of Balmex from an old time pharmacist who was a guest on a family radio show. I had to request it be ordered by my pharmacy (no prescription needed) as they didn’t stock it. After 1 application and 1 diaper change his little bottom went from bleeding to pink. The next diaper change went from pink to healed!

I first had this recommended to me by my pediatrician in the early 1980s and it saved my child from bleeding diaper rash. The active ingredient is tree balsam. Balmex is very thick and rich and protects the skin. Good for diaper rash, injury caused by diarrhea or wearing a colostomy bag. I recommend that when you put it on, you use part of a paper towel because Balmex is difficult to remove from your hands even with hand washing because of the protective barrier that it provides. Has a pleasant fragrance too, not like some of those other creams.

This diaper rash cream was recommended by the mother of an old friend from high school. When she said “just use Balmex” at the dinner table we all looked at each other in confusion because it’s not a diaper rash cream name that’s really advertised or discussed. O went to Walmart, Target, and Safeway to look for this Baex and nothing. But of course Amazon had it so I thought why not just try it? My son who loves to eat fruit (even when it’s not in season and super acidic) that always ends up giving him a rash. Well lete just say that this is the first and only diaper rash cream that has gotten rid of the diaper rash in just one diaper change! I mean it says so right on the bottle,but hello how many products out there are advertised that way just so you’ll spend your money right? But this one actually, effectively,and consistently has delivered every time. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a diaper rash cream.

After trying many many products on my son’s eczema patches, this is the only product that has helped to clear his skin instead of making it worse. He had large red patches on his chin and neck – and within two applications of this on the patches, his skin cleared up right away. The zinc in the product is very helpful and is an active ingredient at 11%. This product is not only for the bottom area but for many areas on the body that need a little help.
