I’ve been a long time fan of badger balm. Doesn’t leave my lips more dry, love how creamy it is and I like the smell.

Think works wonders on chapped lips. Never found a better product!

I really like this lip balm brand! I’ve tried 3 lip balms by them and they all leave my lips feeling very soft after it soaks in. It is an oily formula which I prefer and is hard to find in a product without petroleum jelly. I also like that this balm has an expiration date printed on the label. I do wish the tube itself was a smaller size. I have small lips so the larger size tube makes it hard to not get on the skin around my lips.
The vanilla scent is lighter than the creamy cocoa scent but you can smell the cocoa butter scent prominently. If you prefer a more vanilla scent try the Madagascar Vanilla Badger lip balm. The vanilla scents in this brand are not sweet but still nice and I would repurchase both.
Update: I ordered these in September and it’s now December. I am disappointed because several tubes have already gone bad. They start out creamy and get harder fast. Some of them have also turned lumpy and I had to throw them away.

This is literally the only thing that I’ve found works for my lips in such a dry climate. Unlike majority of the chapsticks out there, this one actually penetrates and moisturizes my lips. I love the fact that it’s natural and that there are a few options as far as scents go.
With that being said, just remember that this is made up of cocoa butter and oils so when you bring it into a cool area, it will harden up, when you place in a warm area, it will soften. So don’t just go applying liberally, start small.
There was one day when I first bought this chapstick and it was a cold day. I applied some on my lips and it felt almost dry and difficult to apply. Later on after having it in my pocket for a while, I applied some and it felt like velvet! So if it feels like the former situation, don’t just toss it! Try gently warming it up!
I love the size of this chapstick because it makes it difficult for me to lose so I can use the whole thing. The twisty part is towards the top which helps prevent unwanted chapstick turning although it can still occasionally happen but for me it’s rare. Those that are complaining about the taste of the chapstick shouldn’t be eating it lol.

I love this stuff! I actually put it in my cart several months back, but then moved it to “saved for later”. I have other balms that are pretty good so I didn’t have to have any. I know Badger is known for their sunblock with no toxic ingredients, so I eventually wanted to try this lip balm. A friend from Sweden recently brought me a bag of non-toxic goodies, including lots of lip balm. It felt great – but has a yucky artificial fragrance. But I figured, you can’t have it all. Yes you can! This balm glides on like butter, no greasies, no waxy feel, and no horrible smell – YAY! I bought the vanilla bean but my kids and I think it smells like chocolate. I’m very happy with this purchase and plan to buy again.

This is my go-to lip balm. I absolutely love it! The scent is light and doesn’t linger, and I love the oversized tube. I use lip balms year ’round, and have a variety I choose from, but this is the one that I keep on hand at home, because I tend to lose lip balms when I’m on the go. I will have one in the car, one in my coat pocket, two in my purse, etc. And my kids will grab them and tend to lose them too, ha!
The other balms? Well, eh, no biggie if they go missing in a coat pocket for awhile, or are left at school or whatever.
But this one? This is Mama’s lip balm. This is ask before you use lip balm. This is leave it in the basket lip balm. 😉 Because this is the one lip balm that I will expend serious energy to find, on the off chance it does go missing.
It’s hydrating and thick, but not clumpy at all. Some lip products irritate my lips (I had some e.l.f. lip crayons actually cause white blister-like dots to appear on my lips. Not good!). This is soothing and works very well.
My only complaint is the lack of SPF. I’ve used Badger’s SPF balms, but they are in small tubes (which I dislike — the larger tubes just go on easier, for me), and not nearly as hydrating. So I apply my facial SPF to my lips, wait a bit for it to sink in, then apply this lip balm throughout the day.
I’ve used other scents/flavors for this line and the Vanilla Bean remains my favorite. You can still smell the cocoa butter in it, but it’s not nearly as strong as other versions in the Badger line. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than some other lip balms out there, but it’s totally worth it!

I love this brand. However, I realized one tube of this was quite expensive ($12.99??) and I went to Badger’s actual website. It is a 1/3 of the price there. This continued price inconsistency is really shady, Amazon.

I normally never write reviews because I just don’t have time for it. However, because I suffer from severe dry lips I felt compelled to write a review for others who may have the same problem as I do. This is the only lip balm that truly keeps my lips moisturized all day. I put some on after I get out of the shower and it can last all day. I will occasionally reapply after meals but you don’t need much just a one swipe or dab here and there will do the trick. I have tried other brands such as EOS, Yes to Pomegranate lip balms, and even some organic brands but nothing beats this lip balm. I highly highly recommend this. Also, this one tube should last a few months so it makes the price justifiable.
