I started using this to wash my face because I have lash extensions and can’t use anything with oil. I like this better than Johnson’s baby shampoo, even if it’s a little pricey. It’s worth it. This is sulfate-free, and fragrance-free without having an unpleasant scent. I’ve noticed my combination skin doesn’t really break out, get oily, or peel as much with this. It feels pretty balanced and I don’t need to exfoliate so much. I also have KP on my arms and this doesn’t seem to aggravate that. I used to have some itchy dry skin on my body (dermatitis, I guess—I’m a sweaty person) and I’ve noticed that hasn’t been an issue anymore. Is this why? Maybe. This works perfectly well for the whole body and every crevice, if you know what I mean. I have less… feminine issues too. 🙂

The dove products are great for helping my kids with eczema. I’ve tried so many different brands including brands that are considered all natural but found this to be the best for my kids. My oldest had the more severe although his level of eczema was still considered mild according to his pediatrician. He outgrew most of it but during the summer and winter months, it will come back but this gently keeps the moisture in the best. Plus it is both a shampoo and body wash which helps with cost, however I feel for the amount I do pay, there should be more product and that’s why I took off 1 star. My kids are now 7 and 2 and I’ve used this on them since they were infants.

My husband rubbing all different brands of “tearless” kids shampoo in his eye and this one was truly tearless.
It also has great suds which really helps to get the stubborn sand and dirt out of the littles roots.
We have it on our subscribe and save so we don’t even have to think about it.

I have crazy sensitive skin and have fallen in love this Baby Dove Tip to Toe Baby Body Wash For Baby’s Sensitive Skin!! When I used most soaps, my hands dry out and start itching within minutes (Benadryl tabs or Benadryl Anti-Itch Gel to the rescue!).
I was not aware for the longest time that soaps were the cause of the itching, but I have food allergies, too, so now I eat 80-90% organic.
For the past 12-15 years, I was using Shea Moisture Raw Shea Chamomile & Argan Oil Baby Head-To-Toe Wash & Shampoo with Frankincense & Myrrh in the kitchen, in the shower and in my bathrooms. I even carried a tiny squeeze bottle of it in my purse so I could avoid using harsh soaps in public restrooms while out. It was perfect for what it did NOT contain.
I used to buy that soap by the dozen. Then it became more difficult to find in stores, so I started buying it on Amazon. A few months ago I noticed that the Shea Moisture Head-To-Toe changed color. It was no longer clear or as liquid-y like it was for years. Then my hands started drying out and itching again….like crazy.
I did some research and learned that Shea Moisture was acquired by Unilever, and in an utterly brainless move, they added Phenoxyethanol to the Baby Head-to-Toe Wash. Why their product developers would be so stupid — especially on a product used on babies, small children or anyone with sensitive skin — is a mystery.
DEFINITION: Phenoxyethanol is used as a preservative in cosmetic products and also as a stabilizer in perfumes and soaps. Exposure to phenoxyethanol has been linked to reactions ranging from eczema to severe, life-threatening allergic reactions. Infant oral exposure to phenoxyethanol can acutely affect nervous system function.
Finding this Baby Dove soap on Amazon was a lifesaver for me because the “itchy fits” are disruptive and cause stress. I just ordered another pack of six of this Baby Dove and will continue to do so. I have it in dispensers in both kitchen sinks, bathrooms, shower, and laundry room. Since I started using it, I have not needed to take Benadryl, or use Benadryl Anti-Itch gel, even once! I highly recommend this soap for babies and anyone with sensitive skin like mine.
