In just one night this has made my skin worse. I normally use Azelaic acid 10% by The Ordinary. I was hoping to find another alternative due to the medicinal smell, but this is NOT it. Broke my skin out. Did not take care of the redness. Sticky consistency that felt heavy on the skin. I’m going back to the Ordinary since it’s cheaper for a bigger bottle.

Directions: Use warm water to clean the skin, apply a proper amount of cream on the face after drying, gently massage until the product is absorbed, once in the morning and once in the evening.
This is my first time trying azelaic acid. I heard great things about it! I have troubled/combination skin that’s prone to acne. As I am aging, my skin became more sensitive and I now have facial eczema. I am limited to what skincare I can use. I am thankful there is no salicylic acid in this formula since my skin does not tolerate that well. The cream is opaque white, moisturizing, non-oily, absorbent, lightweight, and easy to spread and apply. My skin felt slightly sticky with minor tingling and itching upon application. All that is temporary and quickly fades. Is it my imagination or my skin looks shimmery? Fragrance was added as the last ingredient. The scent is very light and non-bothersome. Smells floral but sweet and fruit-like. I think the opening of this tube should be smaller since it’s only 1oz (30ml). I believe we are supposed to be using this regularly to see results so it’ll get used up really quickly. It’s not meant to be a spot treatment.
It came inside the manufacturing box that was fully wrapped. There was foil underneath the lid. It says to toss out after 6 months of opening, which is shorter than the average skincare. 12 months is more common. It makes me wonder if this formula has a lot of natural ingredients. Usually that’s the case. Overall, I find it simple to use and will continue testing it. I cannot tell yet if it is effective. I am hoping azelaic acid could prevent my acne in the long term and not just treat it. I don’t really have any complaints besides the tube being small and that they failed to list the ingredients on this page. I had to scan the texts on the box with my phone and copy/paste it below here but that method is not 100% reliable. I apologize if there are misspellings or inaccuracies.

Shelly Moore –
it looks like a decent size tube. but I suppose I need to look for ounces.. because I was so excited to get it and opened up the main package and saw how tiny it was for the price. absolutely ridiculous.

Works great without over drying or making me peel.
