I’ve bought this product for 2 years. Just recently they seem to have updated the product as the labeling is different now, and says “Hydraulic 2”. It seems clump basically not at all. Note that I removed the desiccant moisture-removing bags prior to taking this picture. Anyway, same flavor I’ve always liked just doesn’t clump.
I like it a lot because I think it’s the only stimulant (caffeine) free preworkout I know of.

Overview: First off, though this product claims stimulant free, it does have 50mg of coffee fruit extract per scoop. Though that’s not the same as caffeine, it does have stimulant properties for me.
That being said, this product does deliver on the other elements of why you’d want to buy it. Rather than focusing on arginine or citrulline for giving you a vascular pump, this product includes glycerol which helps your body retain more water, meaning you increase water in blood and in your muscles. this means you get very big pumps. For an efficacious dose of 5g (per MPMD) you should take more than the 2 scoops, which is a lot of powder. Adding 1 scoop (making ths tub have 40 servings) to a seperate pre-workout, gives massive pumps and tastes great. On its own, this product tastes good and offers good pumps but doesn’t have the strong caffeine and other stimulants leading to a heavy crash after your workout or keeping you up at night when taken late in the evening.
Final Thoughts: Overall, I think this product is pretty good. It has lower than efficacious doses per scoop, but the 40 scoops per tub means you can still get 20 servings in the tub. At the price when I ordered, this is on the upper end of prices, but if you try it and like the effects, I think this is a tolerable price as a substitute for your traditional preworkout.

For the ingredients listed, primarily citrulline malate and glycerol for pump. This seems like a very expensive product and while the flavor is great. I’m not sure that justified the price tag of $50 for 20 servings. They could’ve included more things such as Alpha-GPC and Beatine nitrate. Tyrosine for focus is great. Overall it’s decent and would be much better if the pricing was more friendly.

So far, I’m not a big fan of this product. First of all, I feel the price is excessive for a basic pre-workout mix ($54.99 at the time of this writing). Second, the listing does not bother to disclose the ingredients on its label and because of the light font it’s impossible to read on the product itself—so you actually have no idea what’s in it. Third, the taste is really nasty, almost like the orange-flavored baby aspirin I used to take when I was a kid—and it leaves a terrible film on your tongue, so the horrible taste just lingers afterward. Definitely won’t be including it as a regular part of my pre-workout routine.

This didn’t taste GREAT but it wasn’t awful, I’ve honestly had worse. It doesn’t taste like what I’d expect juicy nectar to taste, though. One scoop of this mixed in without ANY issue into my drink (I used a hand frother thing like I do with all my powders) and I think it actually gave me a decent boost of energy without feeling like too much or messing with my sleep as I tend to hit the gym later in the day. I will say, this is listed as a non-stim pre workout but it DOES still have coffee fruit extract which, upon googling, is a LOT less caffeine but is still caffeine (though upon MORE googling of Cognatiq, apparently they call it non-stimulating).
Which brings me to my next point of this has a lot of patented health stuff in here (Astragin, Hydroprime, citrapeak, Vase Drive AP, and Cognatiq) that I’ve never heard of that look good but I DO wish there was more explanation rather than just saying “also includes.” Upon some more research, they seem like REALLY great additions to a preworkout and I’m excited to see how I feel after more consistent use, but I wish more information was provided.
With all that being said, while the taste wasn’t my favorite, I really did feel energized and ready to hit the gym before going and felt the energy all throughout my workout without it feeling detrimental to my sleep. That’s one of my biggest requirements/things I look for in a non-stim pre workout and this felt like it did the job. I would recommend looking into the ingredients and added patented products too and make sure it’s something you want/works with your body before purchasing/consuming.

This is the first issue I have had with a product from Axe & Sedge. Other products from this company have consistently been of the best quality. I was looking forward to training this product. Maybe, this was just a bad batch.
