I appreciated the seller taking extra precautions when shipping this order with the heat index being so high across the country this summer. (I gave an extra star for this). It arrived in a small styrofoam container with an ice pack. Of course the ice pack had melted by then, but I am sure it helped for a period of time. Luckily not as hot here as in southern parts of USA. The carmel flavored ones were a little soft. Nothing to worry about. I but the entire bag in the fridge. The taste is pretty good. Not a huge caffeine kick, would like more of it. It is very expensive for 50 bite size pieces. I would give it a 5 if price would come down and they had a little more caffeine in each piece.

These chocolates are SO GOOD! Next thing you know, you’ve eaten 2 full cups of coffee 🙂 Lol. But seriously, 1 piece = 1/2 a cup of caffeine. I do feel a little jolt after eating one, but they are dangerously tasty…. especially the caramel!!!

I am not a morning person, but I can’t tolerate coffee because it makes me jittery and gives me a stomach ache. Someone I know who is also not a morning person and also can’t tolerate coffee for the same reasons I can’t, highly recommended this product. I had nothing to lose, so decided to give it a try, even though I didn’t love the almost $40 price tag for a bag of chocolates. That was almost a year ago. They’ve truly changed my life and I can’t imagine starting my day without them. As soon as I wake up, I walk to the kitchen and grab one out of the fridge (because they’re so much better cold). Just one piece of chocolate takes effect almost instantly, without jitters, increased heart rate, stomach ache, or any other negative symptom I’ve always experienced with caffeine. An added bonus is that they’re absolutely delicious. I’ve tried similar products so you don’t have to. Because they just don’t taste good, and many have a chalky texture that I strongly dislike. If you’re looking for a pick-me-up without unpleasant side effects that also tastes good, look no further. These little Awake milk chocolate bites are all you need.

I don’t like coffee much so when I need some caffeine its always hard finding an energy drink that actually tastes good. These are awesome because if you are going to have the sugar anyway its 100x nicer having it in something that actually tastes great. And they are so small and convenient you can bring them anywhere.
They made sure to ship it in a insulated bag with a icepack on the bottom to make sure it didn’t melt in shipping.

The Company “Awake” DID replace my bag of Awake dark chocolate. It arrived today fresh and not damaged. They apologized & were very responsive to replacing my damaged order. Their customer service dept recommended I contact their Sales dept directly, but they do NOT have control over Amazon in shipping. FYI. They were very nice, speedy and gave me a New order # and mailed me with a New order numver and expected shipment date. If you have any quality problems with these chocolates, don’t hesitate to email the company directly. They will need your Amazon order # & order date.

ONLY ORDER DURING FALL & WINTER. TOO HOT IN SUMMER. Ive ordered 2x in summer. Dry ice is not good enough, after they sit in delivery trucks. We love the dark chocolate since it’s dairy free and no coconut oil and tastes smooth & not bitter at all. It’s a nice subtle lift of energy. Helps me focus a little more. But, DO NOT, DO NOT order during the summer with temperature over 70 degrees. It’s 100 here in Phoenix. This package was sent to my po box, hand delivered to my post office Mgr, on dry ice and the heat still damaged the chocolate. I still tried to eat them. But it also ruins the taste,not just the color. These are NON returnable, so in the trash, wasted. Hope this review helps you. My advice.. stock up before next summer.

I first found this randomly at work one night. And I tried it. Not only do they taste good but they actually do help me stay awake over nightshift. So definite plus! All 3 flavors are amazing. Easy to pack in my bag for a quick energy source. During the summer they shipped the back with an ice pack and inside an insulated bubble mailer. They take pride in their product!

Convenient, and decent little pick me up snack. Being this is just plain chocolate with a little caffeine powder thrown in it’s pretty pricey. I did appreciate that they shipped it in an insulated bag with an ice pack. I think the chocolate could be a little better tasting. Doesn’t melt smoothly. I’d rather eat a dove chocolate and pop a caffeine pill. Plus the price would be significantly cheaper.
