This sulforaphane ingredient changed my mood for the better. I love Avmacol, this is the only brocollli sprout product I will ever use, doctor recommended me to try this one because few years ago John’s Hopkins medical research center started to make brocolli sprout pills to use to study on group of kids with autism, the results were amazing, they found 35% decrease on behavior problems, however when they stopped the the pills the behavior went back up, so I use this one for my son who is 8 and has autism, his bad tantrum is almost disappeard, focus level is increased, less fuss overall, better mood throughout the day, and I started taking it for my self, recommended to my family to use especially my dad who had battles with cancer to increase his immune system. I’m very satisfied customer, please dont stop producing Avmacol!!!

We give this product to our adult autistic son. It has proven to be helpful for him in areas of recall of conversations, previously heard by him and verbalization of those conversations. I was introduced to this by a woman, whose son was taking this as a part of a research study conducted through UNC. It helped her adult son with verbalization, communication and improvement of social skills. (I don’t know what amount he was given in the research protocol at UNC). The proprietary elements are all nutritional, and the tablets are primarily broccoli-based.
For use with our son, the tablet is ground with a mortar and pestle, and then suspended in juice. We use the extra -strength tablets. The tablets are not swallowed by our son, and the flavor of the tablet is changed by the addition of juice. It is not needed to be used as a means of pain relief for our child.
