I purchased the 1 oz size and get a packet of 8 — I would prefer to get the 6oz size, but it is more expensive than than getting eight travel size ones. Discovered this product in a hotel a few years ago — the smell is light and very clean and not overpowering. it goes on smoothly and it is not sticky. Actually gives your skin a bit of a sheen.

The first time I ever used this moisturizer was last year, when I decided to try the sample lotion provided by a hotel. At first, I didn’t realize it was a facial moisturizer. When I saw how thin and non-greasy it is (compared to most body lotions), I tried it on my face. I took 2 sample bottles home with me. When those bottles were finally empty, I rushed to Amazon and ordered more.
I have fussy combination skin: other moisturizers cause breakouts, I can’t wear foundation, and most toners dry my skin. This Aveda moisturizer is my face’s best friend. It goes on light, seeps quickly into my skin, and makes my face feel soft and dewy–but not like an oil slick. It tames my dry patches without greasing up my oily areas. It has almost no scent. And a little goes a long way: these little 1 oz. bottles will last me a very long time, plus they’re the perfect travel size.
I’ve used this moisturizer all year, in various weather conditions–including subzero windchills and 90+ headwaves. It hasn’t made me break out yet. It works like a dream. I’m so happy I found this stuff!

This is by far the best lotion I have ever used. I use it on my hands. I did not realize you could use this on the face too as I read that in other reviews. I’ll try that too! It also makes a great lotion for massages, especially on the feet. It moisturizes and it’s not greasy at all. It smells clean and not too much scent which is great since my boyfriend loves this for his rough hands too. I like these small bottles because I can keep them in my purse and great for travel.

I figured for $13 and only 1.5 oz, it would be magic. It’s just lotion. Really expensive lotion. Meh.

So nice to have these handy sized bottles of the incredible and lovely Rosemary Mint Aveda lotion. I can take it everywhere and treat my skin to a mini-vacation. I don’t really want to give them away, but I think I am going to gift some of them for cute Valentine’s gifts for friends/co-workers.

This moisturizer is perfect for my super sensitive skin. It’s very light and not oily. I don’t end up with any dry patches. My skin feels refreshed whenever I use it. I like the little bottles best. They are easy to travel with and it costs less to get them this way.
