This was very hydrating and moisturizing for my face. It’s kinda thick but not really. Comes with a spatula too.

This collagen cream has a slightly tacky texture, which you can see when applying, as it will have the “thready” appearance as you remove it from the packaging. It can be easy to put on a bit too much, because it is much more moisturizing than it may seem and a little goes a long way. It feels very luxurious on the skin and my skin is very hydrated after wearing overnight. It is non-irritating to my skin, and since I have rosacea, it can be tricky finding products that don’t cause flareups. This is gentle enough on the skin that it does not irritate my skin.

The smell of this cream is a very pleasant rose scent. It’s not over powering, but enough to certainly notice. It leaves a glistening glow on your skin after applying, and definitely would make a fantastic base for adding liquid foundation over. It did not cause any issues on my overly sensitive skin, and it felt like my skin was being moisturized better than any other cream I have tried. A little of this also goes a very long way. About the size of a nickle amount, was more than enough to cover my entire face and part of my neck. Having said that, there are some things I just do not like about this. Application was messy, and the stringy aspect of this cream actually caused it to go into my eyes and I even accidentally got in my mouth as well. It does not taste good, and it definitely burns the eyes. My mouth felt tingly for a good half an hour after rinsing it out, but i will say, the eye took less than 5 minutes to recover from. This mishap is mainly due to new user error, as I just did not realize how stringy it was. After cleaning up the mishap, and being more aware, it was easier to avoid the next attempt. As i stated before it had a very good glisten to it, but For over a couple hours after applying, the glistening of the cream on my face actually accentuated my fine lines and wrinkles. I felt like I aged 10 yrs in 10 minutes. I decided to keep it on my skin and give it a chance though. The longer I kept it on, the more my face felt puffy. Not firm, but puffy. Like when you sleep too long and in too hot of a room, and your face feels puffy when you wake up. I did not really care for that feeling, and kept making sure I was not having a bad reaction. I was not. No redness, and my face did not look swollen either. I did decide to test on my arms after this, and I had zero reaction there, so I know it was not a bad reaction, just an odd effect of the cream. For me, an uncomfortable feeling, but relatively harmless in reality. After several hours, the moist glow died down, and I must say, my skin started feeling and looking pretty healthy. It was an obvious change in what my skin looked like prior to application. Might be a fluke, but the longer I keep this on, the better my skin seems to look and feel. I was also worried about a breakout, because I do have super sensitive skin, and there is not a single acne spot on my face, which is unheard of with me when trying new products. I usually get atleast a couple little acne bumps when switching up routines, and this has caused zero so far. I also noticed it made a nice lotion for my arms as well, and truthfully, I sort of liked it as a body lotion, even though it’s made for the face. As you can tell, I am a bit all over the place with how I feel about this. There are things to love, and things I dislike. But, this is a cream I plan on continuing to use to see the long term effects it may have. It is unique, and despite my personal issues with some aspects, I feel it may actually be a worthy opponent to other brands and creams I have used in the past. This is why I gave it 4 stars. I do not know yet, long term, how great this is or is not, but, I have a strong suspicion that this may be my new favorite face cream. I just got a feeling about it.

This cream works well in keeping dry skin looking healthy and gleaming. Only downside I found in my use was that the cream feels quite thick or heavy when you apply it on your skin. You have to work in the cream quite a bit for it to stop feeling like that and to absorb fully. Doesn’t smell bad either, I would recommend this product for a strict facial routine.

Avajar Thread Cream – Firming Face Cream with Collagen is very unique.
I’ve had experience with many face creams and this one seems to be very forward-thinking in its structure.
Polycaprolactone Or PCL is an ingredient that is often used in cosmetic “threading” procedures which involve inserting tiny threads under the skin’s surface at certain points to induce collagen production and decrease wrinkles. I like that it’s included in this cream to use topically and while I understand that results from a cream will not be the same as injectable’s, I’m excited to see if this produces some good age-fighting results down the road. Because of skin-cell turnover, this could take a few months to see.
Aside from the PCL, there are some wonderful ingredients in this cream that are superior for reducing and fighting the signs of aging like peptides, growth factors, collagen, amino acids, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E.
The consistency reminds me of a combination of glue and snail mucin. Not unpleasant, just different. It doesn’t soak into my skin thoroughly but there are a lot of skin-barrier protecting ingredients in here that could be causing it to feel a little stickier. That’s why this cream would be best used at night when it can work its magic while sleeping. It might not be the best cream to use during the day or under makeup as it could be too tacky.
I like to apply this after cleansing, toning, and using a retinol serum. I can tell that there is a slight tightening effect.
There is added fragrance so those with scent sensitivities should be aware of that. To me it smells like a light floral that I find pleasant and not overpowering.
So far my skin has been loving this cream and looks so soft, hydrated, and calm in the morning. The texture has improved and it seems brighter. I will definitely be using this for an extended period of time to get the maximum results.
Overall, I can’t say enough about this cream. There was a lot of thought put into its formula and it’s a dream cream for a middle-age woman like me who needs all the help she can get.
