The face sunscreen is more oily than expected, it didn’t leave a white cast but I didn’t like it on my face. It works better on the body. It has some acceptable scent.

I’m not saying this product doesn’t work as intended, but advertising needs to be on par with reality. The consistency of this sunblock is thick, little goes a long way, but it leaves my face whiter than normal for a little bit until it gets fully absorbed. It’s also greasy, so not sure how good this would be on acne prone skin. If you have dry skin I definitely recommend using this though, because it’s effective. But if you are looking not to over clog your pores with more beauty products I’m sure there are better options out there.

This sunscreen is nice and hydrating, but I find it bit too thick and greasy to use on my face, even with taking the less-is-more approach. I fear it will cause me to breakout or clog up my pores. However, I think this sunscreen would be best to use on your body.

Nice and moisturizing however not my favorite style of moisturizer since I tend to breakout pretty easily and have fallen for the water based barely-there sunscreens instead BUT for my arms and legs? This would be totally fine!
Nice slim bottle with pump top. I’m not sure if this is just what happens for the first several pumps but it seemed very oily and separating. However, blends in super well and fast! No white cast at all. Does leave an almost shimmery oily glazed surface that I though could be pretty and lotion-like on my legs.
Smells just like bottled oil which is good with me, no need for artificial fragrances.
It’s winter here so I won’t truly be able to tell the UV performance for several months. Also hoping it doesn’t end up smelling rancid with use in the hot sun 🥴
If you like a sunscreen that also doubles as an occlusive body oil/intense lotion moisturizer, this might be for you!

This sunscreen has a thin consistency but still thick and “sunscreeny,” to where you really have to rub it in (such as typical of normal Western sunscreens). It moisturizes in a greasy sunscreen type of way (although it wasn’t too horribly greasy for me) and definitely leaves a white cast! I was hoping to just run out of the door after applying this sunscreen, but alas, I had to put some foundation on top to cover the whiteness. I don’t love it enough to use as an everyday sunscreen (especially due to the white cast), but I wouldn’t mind applying it at the beach when I don’t care about how clown white I look. I like that it’s reef safe and can appreciate the inclusion of hyaluronic acid.

I like the fact that it protects me from the sun while addressing fine lines on my skin. Small enough amount I can take it with me anywhere.

I had mixed feelings about this sunscreen. I found the consistency a little odd as it was kind of a separated oil when I first tried to use it. Maybe I should have expected that in something labeled “sunflower”. Because of the separation, I thought it needed to be shaken up, but because of the style of sealed bottle, I didn’t get the impression that anything was moving inside. You couldn’t hear product or one of those “mixing balls” moving around. It didn’t say to shake it either, but I still found the separated consistency confusing.
I love the slim, simple bottle/marketing and the pump is great. They’ve added hyaluronic acid to boost its skincare benefits and I like the higher SPF level. I love that it’s Vegan, cruelty-free, and reef safe. I didn’t like that it’s only good in the water for 40 minutes, and there is no way to tell how much is in the bottle, so it will always be a surprise when you run out.

As someone who does not like the feeling of anything on their skin, if and when sunblock is necessary, I default to the most natural one I can find. The ingredients are more natural than most mainstream brands, and the price is good based on similar products. I feel it’s almost impossible to avoid a white cast, however this does a fairly good job.
