This is a big soap bar that will last a while and is good to be used regularly. I liked the scent of this as it was refreshing. The soap has some exfoliating component but it is very light so it was hardly noticeable. Moisturizing effect is good but not a lot when compared with other leading soap bars. For me this was an okay soap bar, nothing fancy.

The first thing I thought when I opened the soap was how large it was compared to a lot of store bought soaps. This fits comfortably in your hand but isn’t small by any means. The scent is pleasant and the exfoliation aspect works really well. The exfoliating ingredient also helps keep it from slipping out of your hands when you’re using it.
I don’t feel dried out after using this soap and it doesn’t leave any weird residue behind after your shower either.

There are a lot of premium body bars out there now targeted to men. This is amongst the best of the bunch. It’s a hefty bar, produces a mild lather and has Jojoba seeds in it for exfoliating. The scent it good, not too much, but definitely a premium smelling product. (I have no idea why some body bars targeted to men smell like deodorant. This one smells like sea salt to me.) The scent doesn’t stay on me after I use the soap, but it stays in the shower room for a bit after i exit the shower, so all good there. My skin feels clean, refreshed and moisturized after using this bar in the shower, without having to use any other body products.
In terms of value, if you are looking at this review, you already know the price. What I can say is that this stacks up very well or better when compared to other premium body bars in a similar price range.
If you’re looking for a One and Done body cleanser, exfoliator and moisturizer, this is a good option. Saves me time and clutter.

The bar lathers quite well and gives a gentle exfoliation.
Feels like a good quality soap, though at the current review, it is priced at a premium.

I’m not sure about this product. I do like it just fine, but as soaps go, I also feel this leaves something to be desired. It DOES get a lot of things right. It’s a very large bar, better suited to bigger hands- that makes sense for a bar targeted at men. It’s a darker color than you see in “womens'” soaps too, for whatever that’s worth. I don’t personally tend to care about how things are gendered, but I will say at least that the starting size of the bar is a little big to comfortably grasp in my small hands. I say that as a *good* thing though, considering I’m not their target audience, you know? I am SUPER impressed with how well the exfoliating aspects work! It’s a very gritty textured soap that actually exfoliates better than a textured scrubby I think! That part’s really well done. I’m probably going to use it that way somewhat sparingly because of the amount of soap it gets on your skin when you use it directly against your body instead of working it into a lather and using *that* on a scrubby or washcloth. I’ve taken to using it directly on one area and then using the soap it leaves there on the rest of me, no big deal. It smells fantastic when using it too, but I don’t know. I don’t notice any lingering scent and with it smelling so good and mild, I really would’ve liked it to. I really only go for soaps that leave SOME kind of scent behind, even if it’s just a little, so this doesn’t work for me and I won’t be ordering it again, I think. It’s really a shame; I so wanted to like this one.

I like this soap. Firstly, the size is bigger than the typical soap bar which is great as it provides a better grip. Since this is Exfoliating Bar Soap, the texture is not as soft as other bars which helps with gripping the soap well. It provides good exfoliation with its textured surface. I was initially skeptical as you don’t want to exfoliate the skin every day or multiple times a day. However, the texture is subtle enough to provide the right amount of exfoliation for daily use. I like that it also lasts much longer than other soap bars due to its larger size. It cleans well, provides good moisturization, gives good amount of lather, and smells good. It has everything one can want in a soap bar.
Scentsability –
Atwater exfoliating bar soap lasted a long time in our house. It’s a nicely milled soap. Not as dense as some European brands I’ve tried, but also not the kind that gets too mushy and soft in your shower. I love the fresh/salty/marine scent this bar has when using it and it’s not too perfumed, it smells clean. The nubby exfoliating bits are gentle and not packed in there, they’re only really noticeable if you’re rubbing the bar directly onto your body, but if you lather in a washcloth, it’s barely discernable.
What I appreciate about using this brand is their commitment to clean beauty. High-quality ingredients that are non-toxic and from a small US-based business. It is pricer than what you’d see at the grocery store, but there’s a lot of care and quality that goes into its production. We’d get this again!

Update: the soap bar lasted my husband two-weeks – taking 2 showers a day.
Atwater’s Clean Impact soap bar has been a great addition to my husband’s shower routine. The generous size ensures it lasts a while, and it has a fresh, clean scent that is not overpowering. It exfoliates with every use, but it’s mild enough to use daily. It leaves his skin feeling refreshed and smooth, not dry or tight. It is also made in the USA!
