I was taking a different brand but saw these were tested to be authentic so switched. So far I am not noticing any benefits. They are easy to swallow. I opened one and the inside is a very dark red with a extremely slight fishy smell. It left and orange residue on my fingers that came off with a good scrub.

I was buying a “name brand” that was 1.5 to 2 times more expensive than these ones. Obviously without doing expensive independent lab testing I really have no idea if the quality of these ones are as good as the other one I was using, but i have not noticed any difference. Thus, they appear to be of good quality. So assuming they are of equal quality, these are much more affordable.

Nice looking, easy to take gels that contain a larger than normal amount of astaxanthin (commonly 12 mg, at least at the time i bought them).
Even so, i used this daily for a month or so, and although it didn’t make me feel bad, had a very noticeable effect on my skin. That is, it began to flake and crease in certain places. Not small, barely noticeable patches, but larger regions.
It’s taken around 4 months for my skin to *almost* return to normal. Hopefully that will happen soon.
I’ve read about how asta’s a powerful antioxidant and how people have got great sun protection from it, but for me—at least at the suggested dose—its overall result was negative.

I’ve been taking this supplement for almost a year and I like it as an antioxidant, but I’m not seeing much skin tone change like I heard about on social media.

Just as with any other supplement, I couldn’t tell you if it sincerely does anything. I want to believe it helps with my dry eye pain and improved my vision (vision improved 2 dopplers). I can’t prove this is what improved my vision, but it happened while taking this supplement, so I’ll keep taking it. I can only hope the ingredients are sincerely what they claim to be, I have no fancy equipment to verify the ingredients. But, I buy them regularly, they are very expensive, and I’ll keep buying and using these. Astaxanthin supposedly has many health benefits, but seriously, I feel like a much higher dose would actually allow me to tell if this is doing anything and I’d feel like I’m not being ripped off. A few drops of algae can’t cost much, so why is this so expensive??? Give us like 300 capsules instead of 90, or make the pills larger and triple the dosage. Don’t be so stingey with your algae!! Just because everyone else overcharges for this stuff doesn’t mean you guys have to do the same! Be the best option! Give us more bang for our buck! You guys are usually good at that, but not with your astaxanthin…

I’ve taken a load of supplements over the years and never notice any difference with any of them. Tried this on a whim after seeing reviews on Tiktok about it. I’m 44 yo and have been taking 1 a day for 5 weeks. I don’t see any of my eye floaters much anymore which is awesome! But I took an edible last night and looked in the mirror before bed and honestly couldn’t grasp how beautiful I looked. LOL! I just STARED and stared, half freaked out about it. Told myself I was too high and went to bed. I honestly started to believe it wasn’t going to work for me because I’ve noticed no difference in my pasty, see through, irish skin at all after a month. It just took a bit so stick with it. My skin has this beautiful orange-ish undertone now that makes me look alive and not like a sickly vampire. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for my pale brothers and sisters! Haven’t wore makeup all week as I’m enjoying just seeing this beautiful color now on my skin. The other benefits are amazing too but if this is it, I will gladly purchase it forever.
