Forgot sunscreen. No problem. This product keeps you safe from sunburn reliably. I’ve been using this for almost a year and it has saving me from being sunburned several times. However, I still get a nice healthy tan.

First time buyer but I will purchase again. This is the highest quality Astaxanthin on the market. 100% farm grown on a beautiful Pacific island State in the USA. 12mg is optimum dose. Some days I take 2 when I need extra boost. Vegan capsule, also 100% produced in USA, is perfect when I’m crunching clean on my diet. This is not some fake synthetic Asta claiming to be natural. (Believe me, many of the inexpensive Asta products sold here are not what they claim to be). Nutritunes is the real deal, not from China or foreign sourced Astaxanthin of unknown origin. I recommend it and will continue to buy for my next 60 day supply.

I have tried many supplements for my psoriasis arthritis which has early morning joint pains. I can honestly say this is the first product I have felt the joint pains reduced significantly after I started taking Nutritunes. I will update my review as I continue to take this product for a month or two.
I did see a negative comment on excipients/additives and panicked to do my own readings and comparisons. Realized that most of the vegan soft gels are made with PUFAs and carrageenans. (even on the other supplements I have bought before) I’m happy with my purchase and no longer concerned about the additive ingredients as they are commonly used additives. Have been taking this product over a week now and absolutely no side effects and only noticeable less joint pains as I mentioned earlier.
However, I agree with one thing on the negative comment that seller should show all the ingredients in the ad.

The manufacturer purposely hides the ingredients list. I love astaxanthin, but the other ingredients in this supplement make it absolute trash. I would not have ordered this had they shown the ingredients list on the sales page.
High oleic safflower oil is a pufa that goes rancid quickly and is often processed with chemical solvents like hexane. Carrageenan is terrible for the gut and is a possible carcinogen. Same with sorbitol.
Such a shame as astaxanthin itself is a truly powerful supplement with a wide array of health benefit/.

I was searching for an Astaxanthin-based single supplement made with US ingredients. I finally found the product I was looking for.
I stopped taking multiple supplements after experiencing many side effects. I could not pinpoint the benefits of each supplement after long-term use either.
I have been taking Nutritunes Astaxanthin for a little less than 30 days, and I feel the positive results from the short use so far. I did not have a single side effect so far.
The price could be better, but well worth the money for a high-quality product.

Astaxanthin is a red pigment responsible for the salmon’s pink-red color. It is an antioxidant and helps the immune system. This “Nutritunes Astaxanthin 12mg Vegan Softgels (60 Count) Powerful Antioxidant, Supports Immune, Skin, Eye, & Joint Health – Gluten Free, Non-GMO (60 Day Supply)” provides 12 milligrams of Astaxanthin per serving.
Note do not be alarmed if you see your stool with what looks like blood. This supplement may increase bowel movements and red stool color similar to when you eat too much beets. Also if you are taking medications please consult your doctor since this may affect the breakdown of those medicines in the liver.
The bottle is twice protected from contamination. There is a plastic wrap around the bottle cap. Once opened, there is also a security seal foil at the mouth of the bottle. The expiration date is clearly printed at the bottom of the bottle. The one I received has a long shelf life extending up to the year 2025. Please see the photos I posted.
This Astaxanthin will cost you 58 cents per serving and is pricey compared to the competition.
