I have had issues with food digestion and discomfort for quite some time and Lipase has helped ease that. I am so glad I started taking them after see how my cousin has benefited from them. Although, I do have a little trouble swallowing them. But that is the only downside for me.

No flavor unless it gets in your throat which begs the question: “Why didn’t you drink water with it?”

I digest everything so much better and lost eight pounds without trying and have kept it off for months and know it was this product. I take one before every meal and I do not ever eat between meals or before bed. That was my habit before these as well.

This is a good and effective problem that has helped me digest all foods and does not contain Bromelain. Since I am on Warfarin, I have to be careful taking Bromelain. Mount Sinai Hospital’s website says, “Bromelain may affect the blood’s ability to clot. When taken with blood thinners, it could raise the risk of bleeding.”
The second time I ordered, I was sent the wrong supplement, but Amazon Customer Service refunded me and I am ordering again.

I really like this product. I had been reading about the benefits of different digestive enzymes, but there are so many out there that are just a bunch of hype. I did my own research on the effective amounts of Lipase I & II, Proteases, and Amylases. The most important thing to keep in mind is what amount there is “Per Serving.” I found this particular brand has some of the highest amounts of all three enzymes per serving, plus, the cost is substantially lower than many less effective products out there. I found when I would eat something less healthy, it would prevent any weight gain, and then when I ate healthy, I would lose a few lbs. I didn’t know it was the capsule doing it’s job until I ran out and had to wait a few days for my order to arrive. In those 4 days or so that I waited, I gained nearly 3 lbs! I understand some could be water weight if I ate something salty. So I’m back to using Lipase-HP Plus and down about 6 lbs, so I am very pleased. I’m a pretty healthy person who doesn’t eat a lot of junk or processed food during the week, except my little piece of chocolate after dinner. I do usually go out on the weekend with hubby and friends for a movie with shared theater popcorn and then a pizza, pasta, or steak dinner (which hubby and I usually split) after. I take a pill right before eating a meal. Here’s a tip: I found we need to eat enough during a meal to take a pill beforehand, otherwise it tends to be too strong for us. For example, my hubby doesn’t care for breakfast, and when he would take a pill and eat one scrambled egg and 2 inches of a banana, he would get acid reflux afterwards. I found if I ate just a small salad for lunch or dinner, the pill would be too much for me – I would get a bit of stomach cramping. The directions for use state you can take 1 pill before each meal, AND 1 pill on an empty stomach 3 times a day, for a total of 6 pills – WAY, WAY too much for both hubby and me. I will continue to use this!

As a person with IBS and without a gallbladder, I have a problem digesting fats. There are not a lot of enzymes on the market focused mostly on fats and I believe I have tried them all. I like these the best of all of them and will purchase again. I can’t comment on absorbency as there is know way for me to know. If they’re helping, I assume they are being absorbed to some extent. I can’t comment on the taste as I swallow them, not chew them. No aftertaste though.
