I have used a hot mask with a cord for several years now. It has been very nice to switch to a mask that I can charge and use without a cord…a bit more comfortable despite having a little, solid charging patch on the exterior surface. The nicest feature for me is the thickness of the mask. The mask I had been using was satiny, but thin enough that the heated surface didn’t come in contact with my closed eyelids. I used to rest my hand on my mask to achieve contact. This mask feels more effective to me.
You should know that there are only 3 heat settings and only a 15-minute time setting. For me, this in s not a problem, you may want more flexibility.

I have never used a wireless heat pack for the eyes before so I didn’t have many expectations on what to expect. It was nice that while unboxing it there weren’t a million pieces and I did NOT have to charge it prior to placing it on my eyes. After a few seconds on the “Hot” setting it was already very warm. (Always remember if it feels too hot for you, turn it to the cooler setting. The eyes are sensitive)
Personally, I would rather use the warm (blue) setting just because my eyes aren’t use to having any sort of compress on them and it’s always better to ease your way into using any product.

2. It actually felt great on my forehead even though it is made for eyes. It helped to release some tension I felt in my temples
3. Lightweight packaging, If I wanted to bring this out of the house and to work/school I could.
4. The HOT (red) setting can be intense if you aren’t used to putting heat on your face and I recommend starting with the cooler setting.
5. Their adjustable headband can fit any size head big or small and the satin inside makes it comfortable against your skin.
6. I do feel better after applying because we naturally hold ALOT of tension in our faces and heat is the best way to signal to our bodies that it’s time to let it go.
I would use it after a long day, especially as someone who does use the computer ALL day long. The width of the mask doesn’t allow any room to peak under and multitask, so it creates an environment where you HAVE to take a break. Our eyes get tired too and the simplest things like resting them and applying soothing heat can help.

This eye mask is Amazing!!! Three different heat settings is a good feature. Turns off automatically after 15 min. Just in case you nod off…it is that relaxing. Definitely notice a positive difference with my dry eyes. Enjoy!!!

My ophthalmologist recommended this as lasting longer than eye masks that you heat in the microwave. I have a clogged lower lash duct as well as blepharitis, so I gave it a try. It does heat up well and lasts through two 15 min. sessions before charging. I found that the mask missed the area on lower eyelid I was trying to heat because it presses around the eye more than on the eye lid itself.
The first time I tried it, I had the elastic a bit too snug and one of my eyes remained blurry for over an hour. I adjusted, but I’ve been using it twice a day for a month as my doctor directed and the clogged eyelash duct hasn’t changed.
It needs to sit in the eye cavity, like the smaller microwaveable, slightly weighted ones do. They are filled with beads that fill in the cavity you are trying to warm. We need a combo of the two…smaller size to fit the eye cavity, instead of heating your brow bone and cheekbone that is rechargeable and stays hot. That would be perfect!

I have been using the microwave version for ages. This product is great for travelling when you have no microwave available. So handy that I now use it at home also, readily available to just turn on and use whenever needed. The medium blue setting is more than adequate. Washable outer cover is a great feature to have on this mask.

I have dry eyes and blocked meibomian glands. My optometrist recommended using a Bruder eye mask multiple times a day.
There are a few problems with Bruder: 1) The nose-bridge gap in that eye mask is huge and cannot be adjusted, so it does not sit properly on my eyes, 2) it needs to be heated by a microwave, and sometimes that results in different temps on the right and left sides. Moreover, you cannot use it while traveling. 3) Its white in color and becomes yellowish/brownish despite cleaning it and starts looking gross, especially when using 3-4 times a day daily.
This mask by Aroma Season solves all those problems for me. Its convenient where just by a press of a button the mask works for 15 mins with adjustable heat settings. The temperature on the highest setting was perfect for me. The mask is big enough to cover both my entire eye uniformly. Using it is like a spa for my eyes. It can be used while traveling since it works on battery and does not need microwaving, and looks really good enough to use in public (like on a flight or a train). It’s outside cover is washable and dark grey in color. It came in a great packaging with a charger and a short USB-C cable. But most importantly, It got the job so well done.
For the first time users of any sorta eye mask, you will experience blurry vision after use for 20-30 mins (your mileage may vary) but that’s normal. According to experts, that means that the mask is doing its job (you can Google for the reason behind that).
The price difference between this mask and the Bruder isn’t too big, so I wonder why optometrists don’t recommend something like this.

Band is difficult to adjust to fit a small head. Doesn’t stay heated for long enough has to be charged after every use

I was surprised at how hot the mask got! It is comfortable to wear and the warmth is really nice especially for dry eyes. My only real gripe is that the indicator light on the front is VERY bright. I was planning on falling asleep with it on but the light on the button actually cast quite a bright glow in the dark room! I might have to put a sticker or something over it because I like the mask but I’m also not trying to keep my partner awake with the glow.

Just what the doctor ordered for my severely dry eyes! Comfortable, easy to use and easy to charge, no cord in place while using. Medium heat is just right for me. My eyes feel refreshed after use. I slip it on when I wake up and fall back asleep for a catnap. Customer service responded quickly when the mask arrived and I couldn’t make it work, but before they replied, I discovered it was “user error” (charger not plugged tight in wall socket). I would not want to sleep in this mask as the charging port is uncomfortable when I sleep on my right side. Great value and a great device.

First off, the original corded Aroma Season eye mask was a life-changing product. I’ve gone through hell and back with every eyelid issue one can have and nothing has been more important than making sure my meibomian glands are getting expressed.
Many many heat masks and compresses don’t provide enough sustained heat for my eyelid oils to liquify. Whether a lack of heat, of staying paying, or not transferring it efficiently they came up short and the Aroma Season corded mask fixed that.
Because that old cord was a pain in the but I went for this new cordless model. While it is a huge upgrade in a lot of ways- easier to clean, more attractive and comfy, no bloody cord to get wrapped in blankets… unfortunately this mask just doesn’t fit my face the way I need it to- pressed firmly against my eyelids. I have a real big nose so that could be it; who knows. I really need to use my fingers to push the mask against my eyelids to get enough heat transfer.
Ultimately I just bought the new corded model which is a solid upgrade over the older one- nicer fabric that cleans more easily, a firmer cord that also has a break-off plug near the mask so if you do accidentally yank the cord it’s right by your face and not lost in the bed somewhere.
I left a negative review about the cordless mask and the company reached out to me. I went on a bit of an eye health rant and I was absolutely shocked at the incredibly detailed and knowledgeable reply I received, with some of the thermal imaging from their studies and really impressive/thoughtful/science-based responses to some of my questions and complaints.
This isn’t the typical Amazon seller that just wants to make a buck. This is a company that knows the science and spends the money to make sure their product is effective, and is committed to continual improvement of said product.
They definitely won over this cranky skeptic and I definitely recommend trying the cordless mask first. Play with the strap and positioning. And if you’re like me and can’t get it to work quite well enough then the new corded one is the way to go.
