These are a decent size and easy to swallow! I’ve been slowly adding them to my daily regimen (I start slow, to make sure it works with my body) and while I don’t notice a difference yet, I will keep taking them. My far sighted vision has gone down hill the last couple years and it’s getting worse, so hoping to be preventative by taking this.

The pills were melted together in a solid mass. I had to cut the bottle open to get them out, but still couldn’t separate them.

I have ordered this a few times in the past however this bottle was defective. The contents was stuck/fused together in such a way as to not be able to remove the pills…not even one. May have been “melted” together. Very unhappy with the “no return” policy. Will not buy again.

I have been taking AREDS2 supplements because I have been having more problems with my vision as I age. Also, my father had MD and since genetics play a strong role in getting it, I want to be sure I do everything I can to reduce the odds of developing it. These soft gels contain all the AREDS2 ingredients I need. The specific amounts of some of the vitamins and other ingredients differ from other supplements I get – this has a lower dose of zinc but the research study I found when searching the web indicated that this lower amount is just as effective as the higher dose in the leading brand. Based on the serving size (2/day) and quantity (120 softgels), this is a good price for a two month supply.

Even tried reordering and got a second melted bottle. No amount of banging will separate these pills. I even tried needle nose pliers, which just destroyed them. Amzn makes you talk to a rep to return supplements, so save yourself the frustration and just order the Maculabs brand.

Each softgel is about the size of a jelly bean. I love that this is a 60 day supply. My husbands retinal specialist told him he needed to start taking a supplement especially formulated for eyes. There is an ingredient of a beef sourced gelatin so they are not vegan friendly for those who are concerned with only taking animal free products.
