The heating pad itself is comfortable and the heat levels are decent. Low may be a bit too low, even for me, but overall it’s nice. When it works. Unfortunately it seems to shut the heat off at random times. It will work well for 10-20 minutes and then, even though the light is still lit, just stop heating. It has to be turned off and back on before it will actually warm up again. This heating pad is also the most prone to the “poor connection” blinking lights that require completely unplugging the heating pad and plugging it back in. We ended up replacing it with a similar model from Sunbeam, this one was just too much hassle to use.

I bought this heating pad when I thought my old one broke, and chose not to return it when my old one was fixed! It’s a great size, and so plush, it has great range for heat, and the auto turn off is the perfect length of time. I use this daily and recommend for the price!

Decently durable, just don’t lay on it. Gets nice and hot, has an auto shut off timer. Cord is okay, could be a bit longer, but it looks fantastic and comfortable. Controls light up for ease of use in the dark.

I really like this heating pad for both its size and very soft material. It covers all of my lower back and wraps around my sides. It has 3 heat settings and gets very warm. I tend to use the medium setting, as the hot setting is very warm. While I do like the auto shut off feature, I find it seems to shut off before an hour has passed. That’s not deal breaker, but I miss my older heating pad that stayed on longer while watching TV. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to that. I would recommend this heating pad.

I was initially sent one that did not work at all. I returned it and got a refund with no problem, and it was such a highly rated product that I decided to reorder. The first one I was sent must have just been a dud, because I have had no issues with my second one. I use it for lower back menstrual pain just a couple nights here and there, so I cannot attest to how it would work for extended use. I appreciate its generous size. The dimensions would make it ideal for wrapping around a smaller area, but I usually just lie on it. It heats quickly and shuts itself off after a while. The cord is an adequate length. I have not needed to clean it, but the fabric could be easily spot-cleaned.

While this heating pad gets HOT, you don’t have to worry about getting burned (the last heating pad I had- I got some serious second-degree burns and bad blisters). There are three heating levels. Please see the photos of the timer- it is pretty simple to use- low, medium, and high.
I didn’t like that there is no timer on the heating pad- and it seems to turn off after an hour or two (I never have really kept track). But I use a heating pad most- at night- and the fact I don’t know how long it takes to turn off- which means the lack of a timer isn’t a bothersome feature with this pad. After almost a month- I don’t think the feature is as important as I once thought.
What I loved was that the night this heating pad broke, I ordered this one and had it in under 12 hours. I like to have heating pad access 24/7- so when the one I had broke after about a month and a half- I picked one out that was cheap and that would come quickly. Because it seems, no matter how much I choose to pay for a heating pad- none of them last me long. Why not try a cheap one after the expensive one broke after a month and a half?
The one that lasted the longest was the only one I got for free- from my insurance (a few years ago). And it was the cheapest of the bunch. The most expensive one- gave me second-degree burns (with warnings I finally found out was in the fine print- the very very fine print they later pointed out to me) and broke after a month and a half. So I will see how this one lasts- so far so good.
The heating pad size is overly large- as you can see in my photos- I took three larger paperback books and set them on the pad and there was still room on it- width-wise. The cover of the heating pad is also nice- and very comfortable. I also included a photo of the controller.
I would encourage others, as I do with all heating pads after being burned- if you are using the beating pad on your bare neck or shoulders, even your back- don’t fall asleep the first few times until you are sure your body can take the heat. You never know- the other pad wasn’t even set to that high of a level (a five out of nine) when it burned me- it just got that hot. However, this heating pad has not done anything like that to me- I just always warn others now- just to be safe.
I have had this heating pad for a month in a few days. So far I have had no issues, other than the fact there is no timer and that has not bothered me as it stays on long enough for me to fall asleep. I would say this is a great heating pad that can come to you quickly (if you make the right selections). And for a rough user- this one is still in good shape. However, if and when I have issues I will update this review accordingly below (and with a loss of stars, if needed).
And if you’re thinking of this item as a gift for anyone- I think you are an angel as I would love to be gifted heating pads as a present. Anything for a pain sufferer that can help- and heating pads do work (as a pain sufferer I know this to be true)!

Update on Review January 5, 2024- Being very upset about what happened with this product, I had to update my review and let others know about this heating pad.
After a little more than a month of use (started to use it on Now. 30) this heating pad no longer works. I am tired of spending money on these things and then- they quickly break. However this heating pad gets the award for breaking the fastest.
So, unless you want to pay to possibly use a heating pad for a few days after it most likely could have been returned (like I want to deal with that drama- returning it)- try another one. For the money this one wasn’t too bad but for it to break after a month with it’s lack of any features- I would try anything else (if I were someone else).

I love this Electric heating pad! It’s been a long time since I’ve had anything other than a microwavable heating pad but I needed something bigger with my back hurting as bad as it does right now. Plus I didn’t want to keep getting up to reheat the packs every time they cooled off. This heating pad is big and covers me from the base of my head down past my hips… It says you’re not supposed to lay on it but I have been and it’s been great. It has three temperatures. Medium is perfect for me. The high was too hot through my sleep pants and T-shirt. Only real negative (for me) is that it automatically shuts off at about an hour. It did say that on the description, I just overlooked it but that’s OK. I just reach over and turn it on again. Much better than than having to get up and go to the kitchen to use the microwave. I think I’m going to buy a second one so I have it as a back up. Shipping was. fast-I think I had it the next day

I love this heating pad so much that I got a second one for myself to keep in the bedroom, and I got one as a gift for my mom. I love that this is padded instead of having a removable cover, and the padding is the perfect barrier to keep skin from getting too hot. The hottest setting is nice and toasty, unlike some heating pads I’ve had, and the lowest setting is perfect for when I just need a little warmth. I also like that it has a 2-hour automatic shutoff. I’ve had some with different timer settings, but they’ve all only gone up to an hour. The fact that the controls are silent is another perk – who wants to hear annoying beeps every time you press a button? This heating pad is the perfect cozy accessory during cold weather, and it’s been such a help for my migraines. It’s a little pricey, but it’s so worth it!

I feel I can never get a heating pad that actually gets warm evenly. This works great. Cheap price, soft, and maintains good heat.
