I am very happy with these pads. I wanted to buy the Carotene anti acne pads, but they were out of stock so I rolled the dice and gave these a try. I’m so glad I did! For the first time, a toner pad that does not burn or sting but is very effective. My skin feels hydrated, smooth, and clean. I love these. They come with a cute little set of tongs under the lid to take out individual pads so they don’t get contaminated, the pads are very silky and soft, and smell great. I have seen genuine improvement in my skin. Less breakouts, smoother, and brighter. Yes!

I have extremely sensitive skin, but wanted to fade my acne scarring and get the “glow” chemical exfoliants are said to give. In general, LHA/ PHA are the gentlest (with BHA being the deepest acting and AHA falling somewhere in the middle). I ultimately chose this PHA product because it seemed like the least invasive/ irritating option.
I began to use these pads 2-3 times a month on my then-clear skin. Developed redness and physically painful acne, but tried to wait it out. Eventually stopped using the product after about three months and my skin cleared back up.
If you’re reading this review because you have sensitive skin, I recommend you try other brightening ingredients, like vitamin C, before resorting to exfoliants. Most people’s skin cells naturally shed at an ideal rate and they do not need to exfoliate.
I can’t say for sure, but this product might be good for those without sensitive skin, because it does still seem preferable to many of the extremely harsh chemical exfoliants on the market.

I found Aprilskin in 2020and took a chance using a product line I’ve never heard of before. I love a lot of their products and have a few of my favorites I buy regularly. I love that some of them are on Amazon now!! I place these pads in the fridge and love how it feels on my skin. I use them in the morning and evening. I have always had combination skin and now that I am 53, my skin has gotten a little on the dryer side. It leaves my skin well balanced, it does not over dry at all, and it does not sting my face which is a big plus.

I live using this after I wash my face. It gets all the extra dirt off that washing doesn’t do. My face feels smooth and clean. I love the ingredients. It doesn’t feel harsh.
