I don’t like artificial sweeteners, and this does leave a bad taste in my mouth. But I squeeze a whole lemon into the glass, and that helps with the taste. If you don’t mind artificial sweeteners, this might even taste good. It’s effective, with no unpleasant side effects. Definitely does seem to have a cleansing effect.

I got this cleanse in today and followed the instructions for use. I took one sip and immediately realized I had made a terrible mistake! It was like trying to drink gasoline mixed with cough syrup! Do not buy this for yourself or even your worst enemy!

I love this stuff. I have used this over several years and it works great. I actually crave the drink because it really helps regulate my digestive system without making me bloated or sick. I also find I have more energy when I use this product. I don’t know what the other user are talking about when they say it tastes bad. It adds a great flavor to my bottled water. I look forward to drinking water when I have this to add to it. I wish the price hadn’t gone up so much over the years. I think it may be a bit over priced.

My overall impression of this cleanse is that it works, but it’s a cleanse. It’s not supposed to taste great. I’m two days in and I have some advice. One, drink lots of water and be prepared to take many bathroom breaks. Take your body weight in pounds, divide by half, and drink that many ounces of water… more if you work out. Two, it tastes very bitter. I ended up mixing it with cold cranberry juice I had laying around with some monkfruit liquid sweetener (5 drops). I also added ice and mixed it in a blender cup. Now it was still bitter, so I drank it quickly with a straw and got it down in about a minute. I’d advise that route over sipping it for a while.
