Our son is 20 months old and has a tendency to get diaper rash really easy. We have found a really good butt cream that works well for him, but it tends to leave a film on our fingers when we apply it. My wife saw this and thought it would be worth a shot, and honestly its simply amazing. The spatula lets us take just enough of the cream from the container and apply it gently and smoothly for our son. There is no messy clean up, we just wipe the excess in his diaper. It is such a great tool, and so handy to have. Wish I could rate it higher.

My 3rd baby, the last and final little guy, is 18 months old. I’ve never used one of these before with any of my kids, but I decided to try this and I am SO glad I ordered it. Our last little guy gets nasty diaper rash very quickly, and this thing has been great. It is perfect for loading on a big dose of butt cream and not getting it all over your fingers. Best of all, we use a wipe to clean it between uses, then throw it in the dishwasher at the end of the night. Highly recommend this product. Don’t wait til your last baby!!

These may seem dumb but they definitely work well. You will see what I mean once you purchase it. I love that the suction base keeps it intact on any surface. It is great for applying anything that you need to your baby. I use it to apply diaper rash cream and I believe it works very well. Overall I’m definitely happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others.

There are so many different diaper cream spatulas available so it can be hard for any specific spatula to stand out, but this one has been a good example for us. The angled edge makes it easy to dip into our large tub of Aquaphor for the exact amount we need, and the suction cup on the bottom sticks to the flat tub lid or the tabletop next to it so we always know where to find it. Considering how thick Aquaphor is, when we need to clean the spatula, everything washes right off with a bit of soap. If you have long fingernails and don’t want cream under them or don’t want to hand-apply creams for whatever reason, this is a good option.

It’s easier to ensure a proper amount is applied and there’s full control of getting it where it needs to go. The material is soft so it won’t aggravate the delicate areas of the baby, especially if it’s already irritated to begin with. It’s nice and small and fits nicely into a diaper bag. This little spatula has made diaper changing much easier! I was skeptical at first, thinking how much of a difference could a diaper cream spatula make, but this truly has made diaper changes quicker and easier. My kiddo has sensitive skin, so she needs cream just about every time we change her. Normally I would use my hands, but then she would become fussy as I was cleaning off my hands and some of the cream is stubborn and doesn’t come off easily. This spatula helps to take care of that issue. I can focus on cleaning up my little one and getting her back to playing, then clean up the spatula when it works for me. This is a great tool. Is it necessary? No, but I know that if I have the choice I would take this small parenting win every time
