We’ve stopped using all diaper creams (unless she has a bad rash) and switched to this powder exclusively.
It’s fantastic.
It has a decent smell and the powder comes out perfectly. I always get exactly how much powder I was aiming for whether the bottle is full or empty.
It lasts about two months I would say. And we are pretty generous with the amount we use.
We’ve tried the
California Baby Non-Talc Powder, Canister – Calming, 2.5-Ounce
and the top was not easy to shake out and it didn’t seem to work as well (although it smelled great!)
And we tried just regular ol’ baby powder and it worked okay, but this stuff really works at keeping her dry!

I loved the baby anti-monkey butt powder for my son. If he has mild redness or a clear bottom in these sticky months I give him a dusting. I still use diaper rash cream instead of he has very red or severe diaper rash after day care. AMB changed the packaging, and this has thrown me a bit, as it is harder for me to distinguish baby from other adult products from AMB. So far it seems like the same product and quality.

I love this brand and this was a G-d send when our newborn developed a horrible diaper rash… nothing helped…not A&D, not “Butt Paste”, not “Desitin” or even the prescription creams. Love this powder. Came upon it at my baby shower. As a fist time Mom I had not a clue what to get and there is so much information online and opinions that I ended up more confused than when I started. I have a 20 month old who has been very active since he was concieved. This powder keeps him dry, prevents diaper rash. He got very sick for about a month with very watery stool, his poor little bottom would be very sensitive, I used this in combination with the cream and it made everything better while the doctors took their time figuring out what was wrong. This Anti Monkey Butt Powder is amazing! I can’t state that enough. It comes out as pink, which if you are not prepared for may surprise you a bit, and has a very delicate scent that is not overpowering at all. It sprinkles on easily and wipes off easily with every diaper change. My daughter has never had a diaper rash in 8 months, not sure if it is completely due to the powder, but I’m glad that it seem to work so well. Would highly recommend to any mom with a baby or with one on the way!

As a first-time mom, I had been using the standards since my son was born – A&D for every day diaper changes and Desitin when irritation occurred. I started to think that I would personally be uncomfortable if I always had a butt slimy with ointments, so I decided to try The Monkey Butt that I had received as a shower gift.
My son is now 18 months old and I love this product. It keeps him dry, the smell is pleasant, and most importantly, it contains NO TALC, which can cause breathing issues. I’ve only had one instance of Diaper Rash since I’ve been using this product, and that was after a day with an unusual number of loose bowel movements.
Another benefit: SO much easier to apply than sticky diaper creams. Shake and you’re done.

My son had a really bad rash and I was trying to keep the area dry so that it wouldn’t spread. I bought this powder and it worked wonders! It kept his bottom completely dry even when he had a dirty diaper. I was also impressed that the powder did not cake on like others and was very easy to wipe off!
