My 8 pound chi mix was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur so I ordered this for her. Even with the small amount(5 drops), she was able to smell it and would not eat her food it was mixed with. The price is very reasonable though and it was shipped very fast so I gave it a 4 even though we were unable to try it.

My dog does not like the taste but because she is a good dog, and wants to please me, she will lick it from the dropper. I’ve been giving it to her for two maybe three weeks, and I have noticed her coughing has almost subsided. I hope it is good for her, but the one thing I didn’t like was that it has alcohol in it. For some reason I thought it was alcohol free but it has grain alcohol. She has congestive heart failure. And one of the top vets that only uses homeopathic medicines, suggested using dandelion leaf and dandelion root especially. it’s supposed to help with the cardiovascular system but also dandelion in particular is supposed to act like a diuretic.

Our terrier mix started having trouble breathing… He was staring into space, and not even looking in our eyes. My son is the dog’s actual owner. He told me, “I looks like Enzo is having trouble breathing?” I told him, “Enzo is dying.”
My son realized he had been in denial and rushed the dog to the vet’s AT MIDNIGHT that night. The 24-hour vet service Vet took one look at him and told my son that the dog was in heart failure. There was just no hope. The Vet suggested euthanizing our dog, to be merciful, right then and there. My son could not do it. He said he knew he should have agreed, Enzo was struggling just to stay alive. But he could just not do make the decision to euthanize him. When my son and the dog arrived back home at about 2 a.m. I was shocked… I didn’t think they would come back home together. And, of course the dog was still in dire straits, clinging to life. A website on dog health, re. dogs in the condition of ours said, “At this stage, your dog could pass away at any second.”
That night, while my son was down at the vet’s, I scoured the Internet for something, anything, that might help the dog with his breathing issues. When I saw this product, I clicked on the reviews. A lady, writing a review, had EXACTLY the same experience with her dog that we were having with “Enzo”. She said he gave him some of these drops, and he almost instantly improved?! What?! Within two days, her dog had made MAJOR progress. Now her dog was back to a normal, happy life. They give him the drops EVERY DAY never miss, will NEVER MISS until the dog’s last day.
I instantly bought some of these drops and, somehow, got them the next day! I am not an Amazon Prime member. Our Enzo was still panting, and staring into space, just continuing to, somehow, cling to life. He wasn’t eating even his favorite treats, even if they were placed right in front of his mouth. I was surprised that he had survived even one more day. Enzo is older, and I didn’t think he could stand up another second to his issues. I gave him some these drops, had to force them down him.
Within a couple of hours, Enzo was looking me in the eye! I could NOT believe it. His breathing was still not great, but noticeably better! During the next 72 hours, I was with him constantly. A little quarter cup of water here, a little bit of break, etc. Within 3 days, it was like a MIRACLE. No, it WAS a miracle. I prayed and thanked God for directing us to this supplement. I thanked Him for the vets who had come up with the supplement’s formulation.
Yes, I know this is a dog we are talking about, not a human being. But if you have a dog you are bonded to, you know how I was feeling. I was so thankful that our dog was still alive. In fact, I could not believe the change our dog was continuing to undergo. He was just GONE. Gone. It was so sad, so sobering. You know your dog is not going to live forever. But you are never prepared for his passing away. The little guy who was part of our family, had been through so much with us, was dying, going any second. I just knew his next short breath would be his last. His heart rate must have been 200 beats a minute. I thought, “Even a young, strong dog could not last with this kind of heart rate.” And then, in 3 days, he was happy again, staring us in the eyes, and starting to eat a little bit again, drinking water. Making a comeback that was beyond incredible.
That was the night of August 1st, 2022. I will never forget that night when the vet suggested euthanizing our dog. He was right. But we just couldn’t do it. I am sorry we couldn’t come to that decision, but we just couldn’t live with saying good-bye. We were too weak. It was selfish. But that just tells you how over-bonded we are to Enzo.
I am writing this on December 29th. Every day for the past 5 months, I have thanked God for one more day with Enzo! A day we never thought we would have. Enzo is happy and loving, but we don’t let him get too crazy physically . He is still on the edge of his life expectancy years, and is not a spring chicken! His overall health is obviously not great. But this supplement has bought us time! Does it fix Heart Disease in a dog? No. Does it just buy you time? Maybe. Should you stop buying it when your dog improves? We aren’t going to risk that. So we give Enzo his doses EVERY DAY. And, needless to say, each day we have with Enzo, we cherish.
If your dog is struggling with some of the issues mentioned in my review, or the other reviews on here; BUY this product and try it. You can get it in a smaller size. I just buy this large size because I know we will go through it, and be re-ordering! This large size is a really good deal! But you can buy a smaller size, couple-of-week’s size, to try it. I know it is a kind of expensive. But I guess you can tell, I think this supplement is worth the money!
I’m sorry for this long review! But others on here go on a bit too… As for me? I am so glad others wrote of their experiences. Their detailed reviews put me in their shoes, and gave me hope.
To see our dog virtually come back to life, was one of the most special experiences I have ever had. To be able to hold him, and hug him, and to have him look up into my eyes, you know how it is! You talk to your dog…He gets it. He doesn’t understand all the words. But he understands the keys words like “love”. He knows the sound of and tone of your voice. And he is hearing me tonight.
UPDATE: I just re-read this review that I wrote last December 29th… It is now June 25th…and our Enzo is still with us! And…I am still giving him his dose of this supplement 4x a day!!

Our sweet Pomeranian Cleo was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure almost two years ago. It’s now progressed to where she has the hallmark CHF cough, mostly in the morning and at night, but now she’s coughing during the day, too. It’s agonizing hearing her coughing so often, so intensely, and for such long periods of time. I heard about Dandelion and Hawthorne from a YouTube video posted by someone with a dog having the same problem with coughing as Cleo has. I clicked on the link he posted and it brought me to this product on Amazon. I ordered a bottle and within a few days of giving it to Cleo her cough had settled down considerably. We gave it to her twice a day mixed into a canned dog food she really likes and she gobbled it right up. I wasn’t on top of it when the bottle ran out so I hadn’t ordered another bottle to make for a seamless transition to a new bottle. Consequently she ended up missing about 4-5 doses and her old cough returned—She was coughing much more often and for longer periods of time than when she was on the D & H. By the 3rd day it was 100% clear that we needed to order another bottle, and soon! Once we had her back on her regular dose she once again returned to a briefer, less severe cough. We may eventually need to give her a third dose mid-day—It’s comforting knowing we have that option. An added plus is that it’s affordable unlike many of the other products out there for dogs with CHF. We’ll continue to give our sweet girl H & D consistently until she leaves us to join the angels. ❤️ THIS STUFF WORKS!

This did wonders for my 17yr old lil chi.. My lil old lady coughed terrible after drinking water and I learned that is a hallmark sign of CHF. Her chronic cough was caused by fluid build up in lungs because of CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE.. I started her on these drop 6 drop on a lil piece of bread 3 times a day and her severe gagging & coughing after drinking STOPPED! I was able to give her 1 more year of GOOD quality of life with these drops and by also giving her 2 caps of Vetriscience Coq10 10mg a day.( 1 cap in morning & 1 cap in evening meal..) I also gave her a lil vitamin B complex and Kefir .. These combined brought my lil old lady back to her spunky self for a additional year. Natural works wonders quickly and it did and she lived a yr longer with good quality of life after the vets said she was past help…..I do not use prescrip meds on myself or my furkids, only natural.. I now give my 12yr shih tzu coq10- 2 times a day, lil B complex, msm, kefir, turmeric, spirulina, kelp and add lil fresh chopped greens to her meals and she is like a puppy again! NATURAL HEALS!
