This review has, needless to say, limitations. I cannot really speak to the efficacy of the product. The intended result would be impossible to measure, and dependent on individual circumstances. We know Zinc works to limit and/or suppress certain viral illnesses in the respiratory system. And this tab has approximately 1mg per serving less than the more well known, and far more expensive, Zinc Cold Lozenge on the market. So……
1. The taste is fine. Nice fruit flavor.
2. The tab dissolves in the mouth quickly leaving no unpleasant aftertaste.
3. My order of three bottles had an 01/2022 expiration date. More than acceptable.
So there you have it. When you have something like the Coronavirus pop up these types of items sell out rather quickly. Lo and behold……I just checked and so have these. Even though I had more than a bag left over of the other brand, which also sold out, I ordered these. Glad I did.

I’ve been concerned about getting the right combination of vitamins to boost our immune systems with Covid19 all around us, and when I heard elderberry & zinc were something good to add to the list, I jumped on this listing. It’s nice to not have gummies for once. Taste is a tad tart but that’s to be expected.. crunchy pill for and melts nicely in the mouth, giving a rich elderberry flavor. No medicine aftertaste.

I’m mostly going to compare these to the name brand (see if Amazon blocks the review if I mention it) Therazinc.
Flavor is somewhat worse… Not vile, but less medicinal and more HAVE THIS FLAVOR… Name brand flavor is just there in the background.
Dissolves much faster. Since the idea of sucking on them as they dissolve is to give the zinc more contact time with membranes, not so good.
I’ve never had the name brand bother my digestion… These feel a bit like I ate too much sugar candy on an empty stomach, after just one. Not real bad, but not a plus.
Name brand comes in two sizes of lozenge. One larger than these, one slightly smaller. Not a + or a -.
Pros:
These are cheaper.
They seem to have roughly the same effect for me = When I start getting a sore throat or nasal “cold” feeling I suck on one and symptoms go away.
So bottom line: If I was real tight on money I’d buy these. Since I’m not, it’s worth the extra to get the others.

I’m a person who my have the worst immune system ever and who is constantly surrounded by kids with their runny noses and coughs. After constantly getting sick, I was on a search for something, anything that would help. I have bought tons of supplements, the expensive nose contraption thing, did extra sanitation cleaning, you name it…to no avail. I started taking these (after my father in law recommended them) with little hope but out of desperation. It has been months and I haven’t been sick once. That is a frickn’ miracle for me. In fact, the other day I woke up with that “a cold is coming” swallow in my throat. I thought, here we go again. I popped 2 of these elderberry tablets and let them sit on my tongue. I popped one later in the day and 1 more at night and I never ended up getting sick.
Also, I had my 2nd Covid vaccination and my husband (who rarely gets sick) felt the affects afterwards and I have barely felt anything but a small headache. I don’t know for a fact it’s these tablets, but it seems like I normally would be the one with the extreme chills who can’t get out of bed, etc, and that didn’t happen. These are one of the best things I’ve found so I put them on auto delivery. They have already saved me a ton of money from going to the doctor. I’m a huge fan.

The lozenges are not tasty they are sour and hard they take a very long time to dissolve I was not expecting that part. Taking them has become a dreaded part of the day. They indicate that they have the amount of vitamins needed to boost immunity so the vitamins itself are great, they seem to be doing their job. When this bottle is empty I will not buy again because of the taste and how hard they are if only it wasn’t a lozenge or there were gummies or capsuls options!

I’ve been taking these off and for several years. Back in the day before WFH and the whole 2020 crazy as I worked in an office and people were always coming to work sick or carrying their snot nosed children germs in and sharing. When it was definitely not caring. The taste is good. Not too sweet not bitter. Reminds me of the Flintstones vitamin of my childhood. I feel they do what they are supposed to but also remember to wash your hands good don’t touch your nose and eyes and all that jazz. In the picture the standard ibuprofen is used for size comparison.

Elderberry is almost magical! I love that these are chewable tabs and contain the famous elderberry which is wonderful for immune system building! I’ve been using Elderberry liquid for a long time to help with recovery from viruses such as colds, etc., so these were a good choice being chewable and easy to take! I recommend them for individuals who wish to build up their immunity. Given that we’ve been fighting all kinds of new viruses here in the US, one cannot ignore healthy foods and immunity boosters!
