At first I was quite pleased with the leaf bags, very strong, good size and very good price. With recent order the drawstring tends to come loose and even splitting at side seam. I hope these flaws can be addressed and I will continue to purchase.

This was our first time purchasing the Amazon Basics Lawn & Leaf Drawstring Trash Bags, Unscented, 39 Gallon, 40 Count, to add to our lawn care routine. Instead of mulching, I decided to bag the grass clippings, and these bags have proven to be the perfect solution.
The 39-gallon size is ideal for holding a significant amount of grass, reducing the number of bags needed for a typical mowing session. The drawstring feature is particularly convenient, making it easy to cinch the bag closed securely and carry it to the curb without any mess. The bags are durable and can handle the weight of wet grass without tearing, which is essential for lawn maintenance.
With the drawstring, I would not consider these bags to have much elasticity. Despite being heavy-duty, they are surprisingly easy to handle and manage, even when full.
They are sturdy, reliable, and perfect for keeping my lawn looking neat.

This is all we use and we have some very heavy trash. Occasionally the drawstrings will break but cannot beat the value. Highly recommend.

I have been ordering these bags for several years. The size is perfect and I like to keep them on hand for weekly disposal. We have to haul all our own trash (we live quite rural) and these bags make that job a lot easier. They are not too thin and hold up well for tossing into the truck. They also pull out of our cans easier and hold up that way as well. Extremely reliable bags.
