Convenient and Durable Food Storage Bags
I recently purchased the Amazon Basics Reclosable Gallon Food Storage Bags, and they have quickly become a staple in my kitchen. The pack comes with 120 bags, which is great value for the price. These bags are incredibly versatile and perfect for a wide range of uses, from storing leftovers to organizing pantry items.
One of the standout features is the Stand & Fill base. It makes filling the bags so much easier, especially when dealing with liquids or bulky items. The bags stand upright on their own, which means I can use both hands to fill them without worrying about spills or messes. This has been a game-changer for meal prep and portioning out ingredients.

These are definitely a must in my freezer. I have a histamine intolerance to food so I have to freeze a majority of my food. I can’t have any left overs sit in the fridge too long. So I’m always batch cooking and keeping things in bags. Or storing things like left over coconut milk. The smaller bags are great for things like coconut milk so I’m not wasting a big gallon bag. and the big gallon bags are good for freeze batch cooking of boiled chicken and such. I used to think the slider bags would be easier on my hands since I’m getting older and arthritis is setting in. But most of those slider top bags just fall apart and don’t lock right. I find these are actually better for my hands and stay sealed much better and open much easier.

When we first moved to the South from the West, one of the 1st things we had to learn about was bugs. Our house was infested with roaches and no matter what exterminator came, or what poison was applied, they would be in and around our trash in the kitchen. I discovered that if I put anything food or paper in the gallon storage bag before throwing it away, it kept the roach food supply down, therefore, the roach population went down. So, that’s the main reason for buying these.
They open easy, the quality is perfect. Theye are thick enough that the roaches can’t get in to them. They are super easy to use.
Now another story about leak resistance…these are awesome! I also use these for Amish Friendship Bread starter. I have gone though every name brand bag, and every generic bag. All of them either exploded or leaked the starter. This one doesn’t.

Seals hold well enough, and side seams hold well enough. These are moderate quality food storage bags at bulk unit price. Comes in a big strong box better suited for commerical kitchens. Stores well in overstock. I will buy again.

I used these to store my breastmilk bags in the freezer. They were a great price for the amount you get. They wouldn’t rip as easy as other brands do and held some weight in them (50 oz). 10/10 would recommend these, especially to new mothers who are building up a freezer stash!

Their quality is very high, thickness is great and the zipper works perfectly. I would highly recommend trusting Amazon brand and save tons of money.
