This is an awesome NO booster for the gym and blood pressure management!.
I have used some very expensive products that fell very short of their claims, 3 tabs an hour and a half before lifting, it excels with vascular dilation and my BP numbers dropped by about 10-15 points.

These supplements are great at raising your nitric oxide levels. Raising your nitric oxide levels has some benefits, such as for heart health, circulation, athletic performance, etc.
However there are a lot of downsides to increased nitric oxide levels too. I blindly took these supplements thinking they would only be good for me, and I wound up with inflammation levels that were through the roof, difficulty sleeping, lots of acne, anxiety, and advanced onset arthritis.
Nitric oxide is inflammatory. If you are prone to inflammation, you should really avoid this.
Additionally, the way many anti-anxiety and antidepressant medications work is by reducing nitric oxide levels. This is because nitric oxide inhibits serotonin. High nitric oxide levels therefore increased anxiety and depression and can cause insomnia.
What’s more, high nitric oxide levels are associated with acne.
I really wish everyone was open about listing all of these problems with these products before people just start taking it and not realize the effects it has on them. You really need to be informed about the pros and cons of taking this. And ideally you maintain normal nitric oxide levels that your body naturally creates when you eat a healthy diet and exercise. If you have some extreme condition like heart disease maybe taking these supplements is the right thing to do. But if you’re just looking for a little boost but you’re otherwise healthy, I would really avoid these supplements because they can have negative effects.

I got so tired of having to mix up citrulline powder in water and then chug it down and experience the horrible tastes of it. And then have to chase it down with more water to get rid of the horrible flavors in my mouth. Then have to deal with all the extra water that I didn’t need or want just to get the citrulline down. And citrulline is most effective when taken all by itself on an empty stomach. So if you are mixing it into a milkshake then you’re not getting as much of it absorbed intact as you would by taking it all by itself. With these pills I can easily take citrulline on an empty stomach in between meals, numerous times each day. And these just have citrulline, and no arginine. Arginine is almost worthless when compared to the effectiveness of citrulline. It gives me great pumps during workouts and really helps me in the bedroom. I am very pleased with it.

I have had mysterious leg and foot cramps for years, not in the calf like most leg cramps but in the toes, top of my foot, shin and arch. Very painful! Was reading about l-citrulline and thought it might be worth giving it a try. The cramps disappeared THE FIRST DAY I took it. What a relief! The downside…. they are really big pills and I had trouble with them getting stuck in my throat. Decided to cut them in half and that helped but still had trouble until I started swallowing them with food in my mouth. Literally, have a mouthful of food steady to swallow, add pill, swallow. Anything else risked them getting stuck. Annoying but small price to be free of evening foot and leg cramps.
