Amazing Formulas Glucosamine Chondroitin & MSM-Triple Strength Shellfish Free Tablets are made in the USA. Each large oval tablet measures .875” x .375” x .375”.
Two tablets per day is the recommended serving and each serving contains 1500 mg of vegan Glucosamine HCI, 1200 mg of Chondroitin Sulfate Sodium and 700 mg of MSM. There is a 30 day supply of the large tablets in the bottle.
My husband has been taking glucosamine with chondroitin and MSM for years. It really helps his problematic knees and he definitely feels the difference if he stops taking it. This is a supplement that helps reduce joint pain while increasing comfort and flexibility.

I have been taking glucosamine supplement for about 15 years and I think it really helps with joint mobility and pain. I also do stretching exercises every day, which also helps. I usually look for a brand where you get about 1500-2000 mg glucosamine in 2 pills (many brands require 4 pills for that amount). I am not concerned with vegan sources, so currently I am taking Synergy brand from Vitacost.
If you want to avoid shellfish, then this formula should work for you, with 1500mg glucosamine in 2 pills, along with added chondroitin and MSM if that’s important to you. I don’t find any difference when I take glucosamine with or without chondroitin or MSM.
If shellfish is not a concern, you might want to try a cheaper brand with the same amounts, like Kirkland Extra Strength Glucosamine 1500 mg Chondroitin 1200 mg 220 Tablets or Spring Valley – Glucosamine Chondroitin, Triple Strength, 170 Tablets. I believe you can also get the Kirkland brand at Costco, and the Spring Valley at Walmart, although they might be cheaper from Amazon.

I have been meaning to try Glucosamine Chondroitin supplementation for some time now. I am approaching 40 and both my husband and I have knee trouble as a sad result of leading very active lifestyles that can often mean we push ourselves a little too hard. I have found that this supplement has decreased the frequency of my knees “giving out” or failing to catch me. I am very pleased with this improvement and I plan on continuing to use this supplement as I hope to avoid further problems and joint damage in the future.
My husband was unfortunately not able to take this supplement as the pills themselves are very large and very hard and he could not swallow them. If you have that problem, I would look for a similar formulation in a smaller sized pill or a liquid. I like that this formula is free of GMO’s as I always find that preferable, as well as shellfish. I have a close friends who I often travel with who keep kosher and one who is highly allergic to shellfish. I like knowing that there wouldn’t ever be a problem with these pills if one of them were to borrow from my vitamin stash.

This bottle contains tablets with glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM that work together to support healthy joints. This is a vegan product that doesn’t use shellfish based ingredients. The tablets are made with typical tablet forming fillers and are free of other types of additives. This is a useful product, while it is a little on the expensive side. I would personally prefer capsules to tablets, and if you don’t need to get this type of formula in a vegan form then you can find more less costly options.

If you want a vegan source of glucosamine, you are pretty much stuck with glucosamine HCL, but unfortunately, that is the cheaper and less effective form of glucosamine based on research. The best form is the sulfate form, which has been shown in studies to work.
This formula is a mix of glucosamine HCL, chondroitin, and MSM. All three chemicals have been shown to help with joint and skin health, except the glucosamine HCL form has issues with effectiveness.
Another issue I have with this formula is that one of their similar formulas (containing glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM) failed Lab Door’s purity test, basically containing much less chondroitin than was declared on the label. Since chondroitin is the most expensive ingredient of the three, that isn’t surprising. Amazing Formulas claims third party testing so I hope that issue has been addressed.
So I will give this the benefit of the doubt, but if you don’t need vegan glucosamine, I would get the sulfate form.
