Very gradual, it took me 3 days of tanning in a row to get the color I like. I prefer being bronze and this helps me get a natural look but nothing too dark. Moisturizing and hydrating without being greasy feeling. It’s just like any lotion, tanning or regular. Leaves my skin soft. I like to use it immediately after showering and drying off. I do exfoliate still even though this is a lotion.

Aluram Golden Glow Body Lotion gives a subtle glow over time to my very light legs. I like that it has coconut water as it’s first ingredients. My skin is naturally beige-olive, and I naturally tan very dark but in untanned areas am very light. I’m a mixture of pretty much everything Cherokee, English, Spain, and Italian. The glow and subtle tanning looks natural on me and with my beige-olive skin tone I don’t see any orange hue.
The smell of coconut is pleasing and evident as soon as it’s pumped. I don’t care for the fragrance they mixed with the coconut. It’s kind of smoky-fruity-floral and lasts long after the initial coconut smell has dissipated. The smell make me sneeze. Because of this odor, I’m only able to use this product on my legs far away from my olfactory.
My legs are very dry, so they like the oils in this product. However, when I first received this lotion, I tried it out on my arms and the back of my face, and it left my arms and face greasy.
I was torn on giving this product a 3 or a 4 star. I went with 4 stars because although I’m not keen on the smell and the oiliness of the product. The product does what it’s supposed to do, and I’m pleased with the natural, appealing results.

This golden glow body lotion smells better than other tanning lotions I have used. It is free of sulfates, parabens, dyes, , and gluten. It is vegan and cruelty-free.
This lotion goes on smoothly and smells great. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturized.
I have fair skin and have always had trouble getting a natural tan. I have better luck when I get a base tan using a self-tanner then the sun helps with the rest. So many self-tanners turn me orange, partially due to my complexion and partially due to them just not being good.
This works well to get a base tan and for maintaining your tan. The tan is not noticeable right away it takes a few applications for it to show up. I like this because you are more likely to get an even tan with multiple applications vs one application.
I would recommend it for anyone who wants to keep their tan throughout the off-season or for anyone wanting to get some color that does not look fake.

Really pleasant scent. I haven’t noticed the “golden glow” yet, but it works well anyway as a lotion.

I’ve had my fair share of self tanner lotions that give a gradual glow, and warmth over time, or immediate shade differences, and there’s a specific scent that goes along with that experience. I have like 5 different shades going on all over my body and my goal here is to attempt to even out my watch, shorts tan, and white armpits. Upon application, this goes on light, is easy to disburse, and smells just like regular tanning lotion, or oil, that you’d use when you’re ready to go out in the sun, with a light fruity watermelon and hint of coconut. As always, after application I washed my hands, but if this becomes a more long term product for me, I will consider grabbing a glove or brush to help me disperse the lotion over evenly and avoid having to wash my hands to make sure I don’t get any little hidden bits of lotion on them. Over time, I noticed a glow on my skin and could see this lotion slowly do work. My hands are not orange, plus my clothes and furniture are not stained! With a couple of applications, I believe it’ll make everything on my body look more even for sure! The only slight setback is that tan smell I mentioned in the beginning, does come up over time, and my sensitive nose didn’t really smell it until the next day. It’s subtle, and not as strong as I’m used to, but it definitely is still there. Regardless, I’m happy with the results so far and may keep this color going into the winter, if not, I’ll sure be using it for special events!

Gradual but not too gradual. By 4 applications you have a tan. Naturally looking-no orange streaks. Smells good! Will forever be my go to!
