I love these. I tried them from a friend and had to order. I went with a different brand but same ingredients and they didn’t work as well so I ordered these. I get the best sleep and don’t feel groggy and have 0 anxiousness during the day.

I have been taking zen for years and love it! It makes you calm without becoming tired. It cures those inner trembles you get when you have anxiety. I take one in the morning before I get to work and one in the afternoon. You don’t feel it when it kicks in, but you know when it has kicked in cause you are really calm under stressful situations. I take two at least an hour before I have to be in the company of my family members that make me crazy. I can be in their company and be fine with the family craziness. I cannot say enough good things about this stuff. People at my job inquired why I am so calm and joke “what are you on?” They have tried the zen and now they are hooked. Love it love love love it. I am wondering if I can mix a batch of this in the company coffee pot in the morning to get the whole office to chill out (lol).

When my anxiety crops up and keeps me from sleeping, Zen helps me immensely. I take 1-2 in the morning and 1-2 at bedtime. If things are bad, I take 1 midday too. It calms me and let’s me get back to my day… and my rest.

~Every person has a unique body and physiological needs, so I don’t know how valuable this may be for others. For me, Zen has helped me sleep. I have had life-long insomnia (over 40 years), where I had difficulty getting to sleep and then slept maybe 5 hours a night with one or two awakenings in the middle. Over the 6 months that I have been on Zen (2 caps, twice a day), my sleep has been gradually improving until I can say that it has dramatically improved. I am averaging 7.5 hours of sleep, with less disturbance, and getting to sleep more easily. It is rare to get only 5 hours of sleep now. My minimum is 6 hours, and many nights, though intermittent, I have slept 9-10 hours. Another benefit is a “smoother”, less stressed inner climate during the day. I am deeply grateful.
~You should know that I also am taking other supplements to address other conditions, so there may be a positive synergistic effect at play.
My MD who tracks the quality (safety, bio-availability, etc.) of the supplements he prescribes insisted that I use this brand.
~I would like to underscore that all supplements are not created equal, and many do no good at all because they are not in a form that the body can easily use. One very serious example is that for 12 years I had progressively severe cardiac arrhythmia. I took a “to the trade only” (“high quality”) omega supplement the whole time with no improvement. When my heart went out of rhythm I was not perfusing my brain, I had presyncope (close to blacking out) 5-6 times per day, and my limbs would get heavy and I couldn’t think. Once I got on BodyBio PC and Follinic acid for a few months I have had no further trouble.
~Online there is an MD who is doing the research on the effectiveness of the various supplements by the name of Josh Trutt. Supplements are incredibly effective if you get the right one for the right problem for the right body. Finding a doc that can provide all three is like the search for the Holy Grail. My doc is an Integrative MD, uses EAV, lab work, and is an older doc who is both experienced AND has kept current, and is open to complimentary medicine. Wishing you all good luck.

UPDATE – over 20 months since I started on Zen Gaba:
~I can now sleep 8-9 hours and not wake up at all. I even sleep 11 hours on many occasions. If I cut down on the dose or forget it, I start loosing sleep time within 24-36 hours. I highly regret not having had this product a long time ago.
~It makes me wonder why gaba is so effective and why I had the problem despite an excellent diet? I am thinking about getting genetically tested because I’m aware that gaba may be related to a genetic polymorphism.
~To all you out there who are suffering from dreadful insomnia, consider finding a doctor versed in the MTHFR genetic polymorphism and one who also knows which natural supplements are well-designed to replace the missing elements in your body. The reason I say to find the doc who knows/has training in the MTHFR is that is the common defect. The “gaba-defect” is less common. From there, you have a better chance of getting help with the right test to check for any other genetic defects that might be causing your insomnia. OR — maybe a GENETIC SPECIALIST doctor is available to you.
~Attention autism-spectrum parents: Amy Yasko, one of the leading experts in autism says that 99% of autistic kids have the MTHFR
~Conservative estimates say that a whopping 10% of us have the MTHFR genetic mutation. Why find out if you have it? a) It is highly and inexpensively treatable, b) untreated and with stress added you get subtle to severe symptoms depending on age and stress levels…trouble in school and hardiness at best and senility and other miserable symptoms at worst.
~Here’s my experience professionally and personally: a) Not all supplements actually work, b) beware, you can imbalance your body by too much or too little of anything. Know you need it before you take it.
~Locating an excellent MD, ND, DC, or any other physician versed in this approach to healing is very difficult. If you want an MD, start by locating all the independent MDs in your area; possibly an “Integrative MD”, or a physician with multiple doctorates. Ask questions about their approach to healing! Ask the nurse, front desk staff, and the public. Then give it a try. If you don’t get clear results, get a new physician. The latter I cannot emphasize enough. Loyalty to a “nice or comfy relationship” rarely gets the job done. Do not tolerate mediocrity in your physician who is your employee; it will cost you.

I have always been a poor sleeper. Been working on ways to improve my sleep following ahead injury. These are the only thing that I can say with certainty have helped improve my sleep quality so far.

As a Lyme+ patient, this has been the only insomnia medication that works. I have tried EVERYTHING. I went from about 6.5 hours of sleep a night to 11 hours. I used to need two prescription pills 3.5 hours apart. NO LONGER. I’ve weaned off RX completely and now sleep straight through. For my type of insomnia, this is a godsend.

I’ve been using these often, but getting them from our local “Nature’s Pharmacy”. Glad to have found them at less price & no driving. I highly recommend them. Also, but often hard to find, is Pantothenic Acid. Don’t panic at the word “acid”–it’s one of the B vitamins & can be found in low doses in multi-B caps, also called stress caps. Look for the highest mg of Pantothenic Acid in the ingredients. But if you can find Pantothenic Acid by itself, and if you have high stress, as in work, etc. then this will work similarly to Valium BUT without the grogginess. Instead, the stress simply goes (in about 45 minutes) & performance level is, or was for me, even better. This could be because of not having the stress, but it felt like I was more “up” than down for the crazy stress job I had when I discovered these through a nutritionist. Good to take them with Multi-B caps for best overall bodily health. I take the 200 Mg of Zen because I can’t find Pantothenic Acid alone, and don’t get enough mgs w/o that. Since this company is an Allergy Group, I can add that I have no allergenic reaction to the Zens. A. Brinmere in NC
