This facial cleanser is a gentle cleanser that works well for cleansing the face without overly drying the skin. The formula is more like a cream cleanser and doesn’t produce a host of suds. The bottle says it has lavender and lemon peel, but I do not smell either, which is a good thing as I prefer unscented products. It has a soap like smell and does not have a fruity nor floral scent. I have prone to very dry skin, especially in the winter, and like that this doesn’t wring out the moisture from my face. The only thing I would change is not the product itself but the plastic bottle as I prefer more eco friendly delivery systems when possible.

This cleanses well and is scent free. My skin felt clean and soft after using. Like this a lot!

I’m going to start by saying that the smell of this facial cleanser is terrible, it’s unpleasant and reminds me of shaving cream. However, the texture is silky smooth and creamy, lathers really well and completely clears my skin of gunk, dirt and oils. It leaves my skin clean, clear and bright, but it does make it feel a bit dry and slick. So while it does work well as a face wash, I don’t care for the scent or how drying it is.

I use a face cleanser everyday and this one worked well for me. My face feels clean and refreshed every time I use it. This is made in the USA which is a plus for me. I thought the scent was ok, nothing overpowering. My skin has reacted well to this so far, I’ll keep using it for sure.

I couldn’t find much about the brand, allabouthue, but I did see that it was produced in the US. The cleanser has some fairly standard ingredients such as glycerin, cetyl alcohol, cocomide MIPA, as well as plant and fruit extracts in its formulation. The ingredients look fairly safe and gentle but I do smell a light citrusy scent, so it may not be suitable for someone sensitive to fragrance. The cleanser is really nourishing and leaves a sort of film on my face after using, so I personally will not be using this cleanser until the weather gets a little colder and drier and I need the extra moisture. This cleanser would be perfect for dry skin types.
