High in Vitamin C, which is what I really like! Taking vitamin C, normally does cause me mouth sores and sensitivity. Being able to take it in a capsule eliminates the mouth problems, so win win. Has other great vitamins packed in as well so I am happy!

I am sure that while this product won’t make canker sores worse, I have little faith it will help, either. First and foremost, the packaging does not reference canker sores at all, not on the box or the bottle. There’s no ingredient listed in helping with canker sores, even though I’m sure having vitamins can help. But more importantly, it contains the exact same ingredients as a different product (that also doesn’t mention canker sores on the package at all) called Exulin, down to the exact same ingredients, ratios, and serving size. This does not seem to be a canker sore treatment at all, but rather, a lame attempt at a basic multivitamin.

I usually take three Lysine pills in the morning to help with my recurrent mouth sores so was hopeful on this product being stronger and more effective since it contains many more ingredients, including L-glutamine and B, C, and Zinc vitamins. However, after a few weeks I have so far not noticed a difference. However, I know that supplements such as these need to be continued regularly before seeing results.
I did find the price is much higher than my Lysine supplements so am hopeful that the eventual results will make the higher price worthwhile.

While I can not attest to the potency of this supplement, I do find that it seems to be working better than lysine alone. I am immunocompromised and find it difficult to maintain a healthy oral hygiene status for more than a few days without supplementing with lysine. I recently had the opportunity to try thyax and found it to be equally if not better than my current lysine supplement and believe it works a bit faster than just lysine alone. I will continue to use it and hope that my improved oral health is not just a fluke.

I found that From Canker Sore Treatment to Vitamins for Canker Sores supplement to be a strange concoction that really doesn’t do much of anything one way or another. Has anyone else actually read the label? No where on the bottle or box does it state it’s for canker or cold sores. Sure, it says lysine and glutamine but that’s about it.
It is similar to another product I’ve tried with the same ingredients, same bottle but different name. I have to wonder who compounded it originally.
I take Vitamin C in the same form that’s listed here. I know it tastes very tart or my usual brand does. This brand comes in a capsule but tasting it, it’s not very tart at all. How do we know that what the label says is actually in the amounts inside? We don’t.
This tells you to take three a day and gives you 30. That’s a ten-day supply. Rather pricey for the what you get. I find it a little misleading that the title of the product doesn’t have the name Thyax listed but the bottle does, and that the product page lists it for canker sores but the bottle doesn’t.

There are few things in this world I hate more than canker sores. I usually take lysine pills to combat canker sores when I get them. I ordered these in the hopes that these more expensive pills would be more effective. I haven’t seen a difference though. They don’t seem to hasten the end of canker sores any more quickly than straight lysine pills. And 3 large capsules is a lot to take everyday, especially if you already take other supplements. I don’t think the extra price is worth this product IMO.
