I initially had high hopes for Agape Kosher Liquid Vitamin to help my ASD toddler. We both started taking the vitamin, however, after a few days of use, I began to experience numbness, tingling and burning nerve pain in my fingertips. I tried to push through it and keep taking the supplement, but the discomfort became unbearable. The symptoms subsided after a week or so once I stopped taking the vitamins, but would return every time I started taking them again. (Which I definitely recommend taking at the first sign of sickness, even which the side effects)
Through research I discovered this product contains pyridoxine (a synthetic form of B6) instead of the activated form of B6, pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P5P). The synthetic pyridoxine has to be converted in the liver to the active P5P form. However, the conversion process can vary in efficiency among individuals, and some people may not convert pyridoxine to its active form effectively.
This can potentially lead to issues such as painful peripheral neuropathy symptoms like what I experienced.
This is particularly concerning for those with nonverbal children, who cannot communicate their discomfort who may be suffering. For this reason I had to stop the supplement for my son as well since I have no way to know if he was also being affected by the synthetic B6 since he is nonverbal.
While the vitamin has its merits, I recommend proceeding with caution due to these potential side effects.

I bought 5-6 bottles in a 8 months and recommending everyone in our busy life we are not eating properly so couldn’t get all kinda vitamins this agave give me all vitamins in a correct proportion and i loved thia flavour is also very good my kids loved it

So let’s start with likes very nutritional very digestible exhalent vitamin for children or adults with vitamin deficiencies especially autism and a great daily vitamin for normal children I do have a child with autism and 2 other children that are normal and they all take it dislikes well it’s pricey but it’s worth every penny actually because of the quality get what you pay for taste is a little rough however like I said before quality is what I want not something covered up with sweeteners and flavoring

The single best Vitamin cocktail for the money. As soon as our son started Agape, his low tone began to improve. Two months after the Mitochondrial support in this supplement our son began trying to jump, (which we had been told was basically hopeless due to severe hypotonia prior to this). Our son’s MAPS dr started us on this path and our son’s language, focus, and overall skills DRAMATICALLY improved. We dramatically cleaned up his diet, and supplemented his vitamins to balance what he wasn’t absorbing in food… and the biggest improvement that we noticed with this supplement is our child FINALLY stopped getting sick. He had stayed sick previously… just always constantly ill, with a virus or some sort of cold for over a year straight. Then a few months after starting Agape, he just stopped getting sick. Now he catches something once or twice a year… and that is it. It literally blows my mind knowing how much healthier he is now.
