If you’ve picked up a newspaper or read a news site in the past decade, you’ve probably heard that most artificial sweeteners are dangerous to some degree, and some may even cause cancer. American food manufacturers have been looking for something harmless and low in calories to use as a replacement sweetener, with the latest offering being Stevia or the Sweetleaf plant. I’ve been using less processed Stevia forever, and it could have a very bitter aftertaste, which ruined a good deal of the sweetening. Now these people have removed all of the bitterness, leaving a very sweet liquid which is perfect for use in drinks, yogurt, many recipes, etc.
These tiny little bottles of concentrated Stevia are wonderful, in my opinion. They are quite strong, with each drop replacing a half-teaspoon of sugar. I use four drops in a large glass of iced tea, and it’s just perfect for me. I passed a glass around my dinner table the other day, and my husband, mother and daughter were unable to tell the Stevia sweetened tea from regular sugar. I noticed that there as no calories, versus fifteen in a teaspoon of sugar. Fifteen doesn’t sound like much, but I drink quite a bit of iced tea in a day, and the calories would sneak right up on me.
I highly recommend these, especially if you are unable to have sugar in your diet, or unwilling to have all of sugar’s calories. As long as you are an adult (or have a doctor’s okay), this can be a fine sweetener in your beverages, yogurt or other soft foods.

I started using this product 2 years ago when I was on a zero-sugar diet and have never gone back. I use 4 drops in a mug of coffee or tea at least 3x a day and it lasts a long time. I’ve been reordering the 2pack every 6 months or so. It’s easy to toss one in my purse (just make sure the lid is snapped tightly shut) when I know I’ll be eating out. The taste is great, not bitter at all. As far as clogging goes, as long as you close it tightly after use and not let the stuff drip and build up on the nozzle, it’s not really a problem. The few times it has clogged for me, I just wiped it clean with a damp rag, banged it down on the counter, and opened it up with a large pin, not a big deal. DON’T try to squeeze the bottle into your drink if it’s not dripping freely because suddenly you will have squirted WAY TOO MUCH to be drinkable – it’s VERY sweet! I love this stuff and hope Amazon continues to carry it!

I’ve tried so many brands of stevia, and after years, this is the one I keep coming back to. I used to use powders, until I realized how much filler is used in most dry preparations. Powder also makes it difficult to mix into cold drinks – I usually use stevia with my tea, but if you want to sweeten anything other than a warm beverage, clumping can be a problem. Even with warm beverages, the dissolving powder can stick to the sides. Also- so much waste when you buy packets! These bottles are concentrated, low waste, and reliably easy to mix in any beverage or when cooking. (I sometimes use it to sweeten cooked rhubarb, for example) I do use more than a couple drops, but that’s mostly because of my own taste. The bottles are very potent, and a very reasonable price (in my opinion) for the amount of servings/sweetener. I should also say, they have a more neutral taste than many stevia preparations, so that’s another plus for people who usually don’t like th stevia aftertaste. I’ll take it over aspartame and sucralose any day! Overall, very good product, and I would definitely recommend.

I wanted to reduce my sugar intake and not go to a chemical sweetener, after some research I decided on Stevia. There is no bitter taste and unlike packets they don’t have other ingredients.

This is good tasting stevia and it’s the most convenient way I’ve found to have it with me at restaurants or fast food places. (I keep it in my purse all the time.) I usually use Sweet-Leaf liquid or powder at home. I used to use their packets but often 1 wasn’t enough, 2 was too much so I’d end up with opened packets in my purse, and sometimes loose stevia powder. 🙁 With these containers, the lids pop up fairly easily, using my thumb nail, and pop down securely. I’ve used 3 or 4 containers and have never had a leak. Just squeeze gently and the drops will come out one at a time. Squeeze too hard and a stream comes out and you can’t count. FYI: I use 7 drops for a large glass of tea with 3 or 4 nice pieces of lemon, more if you only have small slices. If only packets of lemon juice are available, I’ll use 3 of them and have a sweeter drink.

I have been using EZ Sweetz Liquid De-Bittered Stevia Sweetener for a little over a year now. When I first decided to cut way back on my sugar consumption, I tried several different types of sweeteners. I am a low income senior, so anything I purchase has to have a good level of value. EZ Sweetz tastes very good and one small bottle lasts for several weeks even though I use a 1/2 tablespoon in a gallon of sweet tea every couple of days. I order it in a 3 pack nearly every month because I hate to run out. I let that happen once and the amount of sugar & other sweetener I had to purchase while I waited for my order to arrive was unbelievable (that was before Amazon took over the shipping.)
There are some things I don’t think it works well in: cream of wheat, some desserts. In those cases it only tasted sweet for a few bite then seems to vanish. But for sweet tea which I drink 90% of the time and Chia seed gel it works great. I can’t begin to imagine the amount of sugar I avoid by using it without ever feeling deprived.
